Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team on their three nil victory over #6 ranked Wheat Ridge HS last night.  Sarah Payson, Laura Puchino and Anna Newby had the goals. Laura also had an assist, as did Carli Murray and Elisabeth Sanson. Goalkeeper, Shayna Watkins had the shutout.  The girls will finish second in the Jeffco League and head to playoffs next week!

Special Events:

The Choir Pops Concerts will take place tomorrow and Friday. Tickets are $7. Come and enjoy some amazing talent and great music!

If you still want to help with Make A Wish, we are having our restaurant week this week starting tonight.  Please see details in the blog section.  By the way, we raised $1800 just at the pep rally last Friday! WOW!

Club Announcements:

If any members of Key Club did not vote for officers at our meeting last Thursday and would like to do so, please come and find Ms. Anthamatten in the Foreign Language Office or in room 211 by the end of the day TODAY.

FBLA members - this Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:20 pm we will be holding officer elections for next year.  Make sure to attend to hear from our candidates and cast your vote!

FCCLA will be having their last meeting of the year on April 30th.  Please bring a food item to share.

Sports Announcements:

All students interested in wrestling for the 2015-2016 season, there is a meeting in room 105 at 2:30 on Thursday April 30th. Off-season camps, workout schedules and preparations for the upcoming season will be discussed.

Academic Announcements:

Do you consider yourself a good mentor or tutor to those around you?  Are you a good spokesperson for Littleton High School?  Would you like to earn 2 elective credits?  If so, we want you to be and ADVISEMENT LEADER for the 2015-16 school year!!  Please pick up a packet in the counseling office or off of Ms. Prestel's desk in the Social Studies office.  Thanks!

Blog Announcements:

Make A Wish Restaurant Week:  Today, Smash Burger at Southglenn will be helping out during the 6-8pm time slot and the ice cream place-Inside Scoop off of Prince street is also giving us a percentage of their proceeds on the 30th between 4-7pm.  So, go have some yummy food and help out Quinn!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Key Club's Penny Wars in support of Project Eliminate. We raised over $208 or enough to vaccinate 115 women protecting them and all their future unborn children from neonatal tetanus. Way to go Lions!  The sophomore class was the winning class, and the two sophomores who won the raffle are Julianna Jackson and Tatiana Summers.  Please pick up your prize from Ms. Anthamatten in the Foreign Language Office.

For LHS Music Lovers:  The May 6th Instrumental Music Pops Concert is being professionally recorded. DVDs can be ordered in advance or at the concert for $10 each. PAYMENT IS DUE WITH YOUR ORDER no later than May 6th.  Here is the link to order form with payment instructions:
