STUDENT BULLETIN

Congratulations and GO LIONS!

Congratulations to your LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band.  The Band placed 2nd overall in the Colorado West Invitational Parade and 4th in their division in the Field Show competition this past weekend.  Way to go Band!!

The JV Boys soccer team defeated Green Mountain 8 to 0.  Varsity beat Green Mountain 4-0 and is ranked #4 in the state. Congratulations!!

The Lions cross country teams successfully battled most of our top Jeffco League rivals and others on Friday at the Dave Sanders Invitational. The Littleton boys finished fourth out of 18 schools, behind a strong third-place finish from Colin Cannon, with great support from Christian Sapakoff, Bruce Barnstable, Tyler Fuller, and Ethan Ogden.  The Lions girls were sixth, with Addi Iken leading the way again in fifth-place, followed by Magda van Leeuwen, Sarah Gray, Annika Cobb, and Jenae Stutzman.  Great job, Lions!

Sports Announcements:

Open gyms for girls basketball is TONIGHT from 6-8pm and on every Tuesday evening until the season begins in November!  All players interested in trying out are encouraged to attend.

Attention all girls interested in swimming for the Littleton Lionfish.  Coach Seavall will have an informational meeting on Thursday Oct. 1st, at 2:30 in the pool area.  All returning swimmers are encouraged to attend, as well as girls just interested in learning about the team.

The Stride is Sunday, October 25th! Register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put LHS in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!!

Academic Announcements:

College Information Night" will take place on Wednesday evening, 6:00 - 8:00pm here at school. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, and their parents, will not want to miss this terrific even...you'll find it helpful and college stress relieving!

Need help in Math or Science?  Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740.  Please use the forum entrance and take advantage of a great FREE resource!

Other Announcements:

Picture re-takes are scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 in the Library from 8:30am - 1:30pm. Students who missed picture day at the beginning of school year may stop by the Library during an off period or lunch to have a picture taken. Also, students who are not happy with their first picture may bring the entire picture packet into the photographer and a new picture will be taken. Order forms may be picked up in the main office any time before picture day and should be given to the photographer at the time of pictures or you can order online at mylifetouch.com, picture day ID: CG015030Y2

Blog Announcements:

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 14th at 7:30am in the South Gym. Sign-ups will conclude Friday, October 9th. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). Space is limited so do not wait until the last minute!

Regional College Fair at LHS!  On Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, LHS will host more than 40 colleges from Colorado and the surrounding area.  Meet with college representatives and receive information about academic programs, campus life, scholarships, financial aid opportunities, and much more!
