STUDENT BULLETIN

Special Events:

The Stride is Sunday, October 25th! Register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put LHS in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!!

Club Announcements:

After a second half come back, your combined mixed Ultimate team lost to CIVA 12-8 yesterday. We take on East on the grass on Monday at 4:15. Come check it out!

All FCCLA members need to bring their ingredients and be prepared to cook on Monday afternoon from 2:30-4:30.

The STEM club will be meeting this Monday the 26th after school in room 1610! If you missed the informational meeting, that's fine. Come to this meeting and we will sign you up! Make sure you come to this meeting to prepare for our upcoming event!

Other Announcements:

Halloween will soon be here, and to get you into the Spirit-(ha ha) Student Council has put up decorations around the school.  We ask that you please do not take these down or mess with them in any way; they took the committee a long time to put up, so respect their work please and ENJOY!

Blog Announcements:

LHS PTO will again be hosting a “Paint Drop Off” for water-based paints and stains on Saturday, Oct. 24 form 10-2 on the 24th in the South parking lot (near cafeteria). No charge for dropping off paint, but donations for LHS after-prom are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Halloween O Grams on sale all this week and next!  Do you like candy?  Do you have some friends you would like to send a FUN message to?  If so, you need to buy a Halloween O Gram from a Student Council member for only $1--such a deal!  They will be on sale until Oct. 29th, so pick yours up today!

Students, do you need help with a particularly difficult class, subject or assignment?  If so, we have a great resource for you!  National Honor Society students are offering free one on one tutoring in the counseling office.  These students excel academically and are required to tutor.  They are available every day throughout the day and there is a list of tutors available on Mr. Hahn's office door.

October is School Safety Month. Safe2Tell is now available on your mobile device. The Safe2Tell Colorado mobile app for reporting threatening behaviors and safety concerns in Colorado is now available for students, parents and community members on the Apple App Store for iphones/ipads and Google Play for Android devices. Please utilize this system only for very serious concerns. Check out the new Safe2Tell App for your mobile device.
