STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball teams who beat the Wheat Ridge Farmers last night! The Freshman, Sophomore, and Varsity teams came home with victories last night!

Congratulations to the winners of the 5th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest!  In the Creative category-winners Kathleen Lee and Rachel Rachel Tobler, as well as Willow Samu.  In the Lion Pride Category-Kathy Le and Alex Green, and in the Scary Category Miriam Tomlinson, Lydia Tomlinson and Ben Greenly.  Thanks for participating everyone!  You can see their pumpkins in the front of the Attendance office!

Halloween Special Events:

Learn the Thriller Dance choreography after school again today and tomorrow at 3pm in the Band room.  Performance will happen at half time at the Varsity Football game Thursday evening.

Trick or Trunk is on Thursday and it has a new location!  It will be now be in the West/Main entrance parking lot from 3:30-5:30pm.  Students we need your help! Please move your cars by 3:00pm so we can set-up the area.  StuCo thanks you in advance as we welcome younger kids from the entire LHS community to come have a safe and fun Halloween environment at LHS.

Student Council is hosting a Costume Contest on Friday Oct. 30th, so we want to see the entire student body AND teachers decked out in Halloween Costumes!  The categories are:  Scariest, Cutest, Best Group, Most Classic and Original.  There will be prizes for first place in each category.  Just head to the cafeteria during lunches and get your picture taken by a Student Council member, give them your name and you will find out on Monday if you are a winner!!

Remember, you cannot have full face masks or paint your face. Costumes must be Code of Conduct appropriate. Thank you!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  A college admissions representative from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, will visit the Post Grad Center on Thursday, Oct. 29th at 11:45 am. Please sign up on your Naviance account to attend.

For students needing help in Math & Science, Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740.  Please use the forum entrance.

IB students, your exam registration forms and money are due to the IB office by the end of the day on Thursday, October 29. Please see Ms. Anderson or Mrs. Stulock if you have questions.

Concurrent Enrollment applications are due Friday in the Counseling office.

Club Announcements:

Attention self-driven students: Do you want to set your own working hours, determine your own salary, and run your own life? Make your passions come to life and join other entrepreneurs and innovators as they shape the world! There will be a meeting on TODAY after school in room 1976 (formerly124) from 2:30 to 3:30 about entrepreneurship and bringing your ideas to life. Food will be provided, and you can enter into a contest to win $500! See Mr. Decker for more details.

The Model UN Club will meet in room 2609 at 2:20pm TODAY.

Your Ridisculous mixed Ultimate team takes on Rock Canyon TODAY on the grass soccer field at 4pm.

We have a TSA meeting this Thursday in the tech lab. We will learn what events are in runoffs and which events have closed. Run-offs is on Thursday, Nov. 5th! See you in the tech lab @ 2:20pm. See Mrs. Wilkins with questions.

Calling all crafters! Want to learn to knit? Have a knitting project already started and want company while you work? Want to earn community service hours? Join the LHS Knitting Club by signing up with Ms. Quill or Ms. Ahmad! All skill levels are welcome, including beginners. Our first group project will be knitting together a blanket to donate to the Veteran's Hospital!  First meeting is on Monday, November 2 in Room 1602 at 2:30!

Sports Announcements:

Varsity Boys Soccer team is Playoff Bound!  Everyone come out to the stadium this TONIGHT at 7:00pm as your Littleton Lions take on the Harrison Panthers. Wear your school colors and support your team.  Please remember that this is a playoff game so your activity pass does not get you into the game.  General admission price is $7, student and senior price is $5.

Attention all Boys lacrosse players:  we have a very important meeting TONIGHT at 6 pm in the Forum. Bring your parents and get the info you need to play lacrosse this spring.

Come watch the Lady Lion Volleyball Players play their final home match on Thursday! It's Senior Night! Come support and and bid farewell to our seniors!

Come out on Thursday to watch Varsity Football take on the Ponderosa Mustangs at 7pm in the stadium.  Special half time show of the Thriller performed by students and Marching Band, don’t miss out!
