Congratulations to the Lady Lions Varsity Volleyball who earned an invite to the Regional Tournament this week-end! Location will be announced today! Good luck ladies!
CONGRATULATIONS to the Costume Contest Winners! Scariest is Samantha Burke, Cutest is Morgan Mulholland, Classic is Ruben Valdivia, Original is Harmony Slankard and Group was the group of Painters--Marylou Barrios, Anna Maestas, Andy Bredar and Madi Deter. Stop by Ms. Prestel's desk in the social studies office after school today and pick up your prize!
Special Events:
The LHS Choirs, Orchestra and Jazz Band will be presenting their Fall Concert TONIGHT, at 7 p.m. The concert is free and will be held in the Arapahoe High School Theater. All are invited!
Varsity Boys Soccer has advanced to the 2nd round of Playoffs! They will play against Air Academy TONIGHT at 7PM in the Stadium. Please remember that this is a playoff game so your activity pass does not get you into the game. General admission price is $7, student and senior price is $5. Again because this is a State Playoff game, LHS student activity passes will not let you into the game.

Unified basketball season is just around the corner....please join us TODAY in room 1618 at 2:30 for a short informational meeting.
Attention Lady Lion Fish - we will have apparel sizing TODAY. Meet in the pool at 3:00, then stay for an optional swim practice until 4:00. Another optional swim practice will be offered on Thursday November 5th 3:00-4:00.
Basketball season is just 2 weeks away and this is a great year to become a part of our fantastic girls basketball program! Come check out open gym on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm.
There will be a Boys Basketball pre-season meeting on Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:00 pm in Room 1329. This is for all boys interested in playing basketball this year and for anybody who is interested in being a team manager.
Club Announcements:
FCCLA will be meeting this Thursday, after school, in room 1972. Guest speaker, JoAnne Peck, will be doing a "Living On Your Own" presentation. Everyone is welcome to join.

Coats for Veterans needs your help! If you have some gently used coats at home, please bring them in and put them in the bins located in the library, front of the attendance office and the main office--these are for Veterans in need and for Families of Fallen Veterans! Let's show them our giving spirit here at LHS!
Attention Seniors! Are you planning to attend a four-year college? Do you have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above? Do you have financial need and a strong commitment to the community? If yes, please come to Post Grad and pick up information about the Greenhouse Scholars scholarship program. This scholarship provides comprehensive personal and financial support (up to $5,000 per year!). Application deadline is January 4th.
