Academic Announcements:

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors.  If you are interested in participating in the STEM Certificate Program, please visit the STEM webpage on the LHS website to get all the details of the program.  Online registration is now open on the STEM webpage.  If you have questions, see Ms. Reimers.

Special Events:

Winter Dance spirit days have been changed; Monday is Disney Day, Tuesday is Neverland Day, Wednesday is Villain Day and Thursday is Hero Day.  The pep assembly is Friday and our Winter Dance is Saturday, January 31.

Sports Announcements:

Come cheer our Unified Lions Basketball team to victory Monday Jan 26th in the North gym @ 7PM, they will be taking on the Chatfield Chargers.  Unified Partners just a reminder that Monday is picture day be in the gym at 6:45PM.

Any girls wishing to play soccer in the spring should attend a meeting on Wednesday, January 28th right after school in room 133E. You will receive information on tryouts and upcoming key dates. Please see coach Banfield if you cannot attend the meeting.

There is a team meeting for all boys interested in Boys Swim this year on Thursday, January 29 at 2:30 pm in Room 133E.

Athletes - Spring Sports Registration is now open. Avoid the delays and headaches in waiting until the last minute to receive your clearing card to participate in a sport.  Register now on the LHS Athletic Website at www.littletonlions.net . Check under "Registration Info" for assistance. Students will need to turn in a current Physical Form, if one is not already on file with the Athletic Department, and the Permission for Use of Private Vehicle must also be completed and turned in.

Attention Students!  The final day to purchase a yearbook is rapidly approaching!  We will have a limited number of books for sale at the end of the year, but once they are gone they are gone- so you will want to consider pre-purchasing.  The deadline to pre-purchase a yearbook is January 26.

All sophomores on the IB-track!  There is a mandatory meeting during A and B lunches TODAY in the Forum.  Please bring your lunch.

Students that are interested in taking classes at ACC for the fall 2015 semester, please plan to attend the Concurrent Enrollment meeting on Tuesday, January 27th at 2:15 in room 103.  A district representative will be there to explain the process.  Please see Mr. Puchino in counseling if you have questions.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to all Littleton High School FBLA members who attended and competed at the District Leadership Conference held on Tuesday at the Pepsi Center.  LHS FBLA students brought home 6 - 1st place awards, 8 - 2nd place awards, 1 - 3rd place award, 2 - 4th place awards, and 1 - 5th place award.  A total of 20 students qualified for the state conference in Vail, CO in April 2015! Nice job Lions!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Stringy Ervin recognized once again!  Congratulations to Maurice “Stringy” Ervin for being selected 2014 National Federation of State High School Association’s National Coach of the Year for Girls Swimming & Diving!  Coach Ervin retired last May after 45 years of coaching, including 30 years with girls swimming.  He is known for his infamous team cheers, memorable purple plaid pants, and his tireless dedication to his student-athletes.  Congratulations Stringy!  You deserve this!
