Don't forget Key Club is collecting gently used sports equipment to donate to needy kids in Denver through the end of TODAY.  Bring your donations to the library or the counseling office.

Attention students: Beginning MONDAY, 3/2 we will begin construction on an athletic addition on the east side of the building.  This will impact parking.  Students will have access to the forum/cafeteria lot on the south side of the building, all of the main entrance lot, and the north lot outside the tech lab and woodshop area.

Congratulations to the 45 DECA students who participated in the State Leadership Conference this past weekend at the Broadmoor Hotel.  20 students qualified for the finals competitions, placing top 10 in the state.  Special congratulations go out 6 students who qualified for the International competition in ORLANDO, FL this april.  Joseph Elias, Junai Testa and Maddi Hornsby placed 4th, Adam Tinucci and Louisa Paolini placed 2nd and Kelly Dinneen is your new State Champion in Business Finance.  Also Maddie Diaz was elected as a State officer for Colorado DECA District 3.

Needs include shirts, shorts, socks helmets and shin guards in children's and youth sizes, balls, sticks, nets and anything else you can think of. Bring your unused sports equipment to our collection boxes in the library or the counseling office this week!

Attention first generation Seniors!  Looking for a scholarship?  Maybe the Merkle is for you!  You are eligible if you will be a first generation college student, you have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, you have financial need, and you are active in your school or community.  This scholarship is available only to students from Manual High School or Littleton High School, so the odds are in your favor!  The award is $2,000 - $10,000, and the deadline is March 16th.  Don't miss the opportunity to apply for this scholarship!  Come to Post Grad to learn more and pick up the materials.

The Colorado, World, and Model UN" clubs will meet this Wednesday at 2:15 in room 206. This meeting is essential for any students participating in The Fossil Ridge Model UN Conference

Junior Advisement is TOMORROW on Late Start Wednesday from 7:20-9:00 a.m.  All Juniors are required to attend this Junior Advisement session.  Students with last names beginning with A-L need to report to your assigned classroom at 7:20am.  Last names beginning with M-Z report to classrooms at 8:05am. Report to the Business Hallway classroom to which you’re assigned. Remember, no bus transportation will be provided for this early session. If you have questions, stop by Post Grad.

Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to our Varsity Girls basketball team who earned yet another tough win on Friday night over Standley Lake to finish the season at 17-6!  Alexiss Oronoa led our Lions with 17 points and Kiera Lindgren and Laura Puchino added 12 points each.  In addition, our varsity ladies were awarded a #5 seed in the State playoffs and will take on the Durango Demons this Friday night in Pueblo hoping to advance to play on Saturday night in the sweet 16.  Way to go ladies!

The Littleton wrestling team concluded the wrestling season on Saturday at the State wrestling championships. Aron Pino Valenzuela at 285 pounds took fourth place and is the first wrestler from LHS to place at the State level in over 40 years.
