Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Girls tennis who ended their regular season with an 8-1 winning record. They played well at regionals with individual teams placing 3rd and 4th. Great work ladies!

Congratulations to the Girls varsity soccer team on their ten nil win over Arvada last night. They finished the regular season in second place in the league. Come and watch the first round of the state tournament next Wednesday in the stadium. More information to follow!

Attention all Student Council officers, ambassadors and general council members, we have our LAST General Council meeting of the year on Monday May 4th...we will choose our Homecoming theme for next year, talk about elections and meet in our class councils--PLEASE BE THERE.

Your Lion Ultimate guys' team ended their regular season yesterday by dominating Arapahoe 15-6. Wish both the guys and girls good luck as they head to state at Dick's this weekend!

Today is a LATE START modified ODD Per. Day – 8.1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls varsity soccer team on their three nil victory over #6 ranked Wheat Ridge HS last night.  Sarah Payson, Laura Puchino and Anna Newby had the goals. Laura also had an assist, as did Carli Murray and Elisabeth Sanson. Goalkeeper, Shayna Watkins had the shutout.  The girls will finish second in the Jeffco League and head to playoffs next week!

Thank you to everyone who participated in Key Club's Penny Wars in support of Project Eliminate. We raised over $208 or enough to vaccinate 115 women protecting them and all their future unborn children from neonatal tetanus. Way to go Lions!  The sophomore class was the winning class, and the two sophomores who won the raffle are Julianna Jackson and Tatiana Summers.  Please pick up your prize from Ms. Anthamatten in the Foreign Language Office.

Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Very important ACT announcement:

Tomorrow, Tuesday April 28th is the State ACT testing day.  All juniors need to report to school by 7:20 am with a calculator and two number 2 pencils.  Buses will run their normal routes in the morning for all juniors.  There will be a second bus run 4 hours later for all other grades.  Lunch will be served from 11:15 to 11:55 am.  Even period classes for all students begin at Noon.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the FBLA members who competed at the state leadership conference in Vail!  All members had outstanding performances and several members made the final round of competition. Final round competitors were Caroline Kern-Allely, Naya Bere, Julia Votaw and Jordan Howden. The following students finished in the top three in the state, qualifying for the NATIONAL leadership conference this summer in Chicago - Madi Gore, Adrian Caro, Elisabeth Sanson and Samantha Sanson.

Congrats to the Boys Junior Varsity Track Team who won the Jeffco JV League Championship on Friday! Great way to end the season, boys! The girls finished in 4th place overall and only 5 points out of second!

Congratulations to Manwich and Chordially Yours for their performances at the CHSAA Choir Festival on Friday.  Both groups received superior ratings.

Senior Announcements:

On LATE START Wednesday, April 29th the Class of 2015 will have a mandatory meeting at 8:00 am regarding graduation and other end of the year activities.  All seniors must attend this meeting in the Theater.

There will be a Student Council General Council meeting TODAY for all Officers, General Council members and Ambassadors.  We need to talk about Officer Elections, Make A Wish evaluation and the Banquet--see you in the forum at 2:20!

Reminder for Seniors - Get on the map!  Have you decided where you're going to college?  If so, stop by the Post Grad Center and let us know.  We'll put your picture with your name and college on the maps outside the cafeteria and in Post Grad!
