STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Lady Lion Fish for your Varsity and Junior Varsity win over the Wheatridge Farmers.  Your Super Hero outfits were a big hit in school and after school. Congratulations to the State qualifiers:

Congratulations to our varsity Girls basketball team who improved to 3-1 on the season after defeating Overland in the first round of our Mane Event Tournament last night.  Sophomore Rebekah Sandstrom scored 6 points and pulled down 21 rebounds in the victory.  Katie Puchino scored 14 and added 9 rebounds as well.  Our Lions take on Cheyenne East in the second round tonight at 7:30.  Be there tonight and Saturday evening to cheer on our Lions!

Attention all game lovers! Mr. Chandler’s Statistic classes are hosting the annual Statistic Carnival again TODAY during periods 2 and 8.  Come on down the cafeteria to support and have fun!

Come out and support your LHS Spirit squads this weekend at their State Spirit Championships. The cheer team performs at 2:13 PM TODAY and the Littleton Lionettes perform at 10:20 AM on Saturday morning, December 12th. Both are at the Denver Coliseum. Good luck to both teams and Go Lions!

Students - check out your LHS security staff and their new LHS spirit wear.  Parents can see pictures online.  Gear will be on sale Tuesday and Wednesday next week from 9:30am-12:30pm in the front lobby. Fun LHS Spirit Wear just in time for the holidays!

The Giving Snowman is HERE!  Check out the Snowman in the Business hallway and take a Snowflake off to make a kid’s Christmas very special in Uganda, Africa this year!  Buy your gift, then bring it up to the Social Studies office and put it next to Ms. Prestel's desk by Friday Dec. 18th.

You must submit payment to place an order for your yearbook.  Bring cash or check payments to the Bookkeeper or pay with a credit card online.  If you place an order online, only enter quantity, dollar amount will be automatically calculated.   Don't miss out on all the memories from the school year.  The yearbook deadline has been extended to January 15, 2016.

The Choir Winter Concert is TONIGHT at 7 p.m.  It is free and features all seven choirs and a combined choir with orchestra finale!

DECA members have a meeting TODAY after school in room 1976.  We will be discussing the State Leadership Conference, so if you are attending state, this meeting is mandatory.

Time to get into the Holiday Spirit!  Student Council is sponsoring the 1st Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest!  Teachers and Students wear your ugliest, cutest, or most festive sweater on Friday Dec. 11th to win a gift card to Chipolte or Starbucks!  Come by the cafeteria and get your picture taken during A and B lunches, winners will be announced on Monday Dec. 14th.

STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to your Littleton High School "Lion Pride" Marching Band and Colorguard who placed First Overall at the Festival of Lights Parade in Colorado Springs this past Saturday.

Boys Basketball took on Thomas Jefferson High School on Saturday. The C-team posted a big victory to even their record at 1-1. Varsity squad competed valiantly in their loss-Junior Sam Kail led the Lions with 16 points.

Special Events:

Attention all game lovers! Do you enjoy playing Plinko? What about Battleship or Trivia?  If so, you’re in luck!  TODAY and on Friday, Mr. Chandler’s Statistic classes are hosting the annual Statistic Carnival during periods 2 and 8.  Come on down the cafeteria to support and have fun!

The Instrumental Music Holiday Concert is TONIGHT, at 7pm in the Theater.  The LHS Orchestra, Symphonic Winds and Jazz Ensemble are all scheduled to perform your Holiday favorites.  Concert begins at 7pm and Admission is FREE.

Congratulations to the Lady Lion Fish who won their first meet of the season last Thursday against Chatfield high school! Lydia vankooten made state in the 200 freestyle. Both the 200 medley and the 200 freestyle relay made state as well. Members of the medley were Hailey Egelhoff, Claire Tronrud, Reganne Fornstrom, and Anna Mastes. Members of the 200 freestyle relay included Claire Tronrud, Anna Mastes, Emily Sanders and Lydia Vankooten.

Special Events:
