Sports Announcements:

This season we are introducing theme nights for our home UNIFIED basketball games.  Our first theme for TONIGHT’S game against Arapahoe is Beach night.  Dress up, and get your flip flops and snorkel gear ready, surf's up TONIGHT at 7pm.

Club & Activity Announcements:

Attention all National Honor Society students - You have a meeting TODAY after school at 2:20 in the Forum.  We look forward to seeing you!

Knitting Club's first meeting after Winter Break - Welcome back knitters!!!  Let’s finish our veterans blanket project.  Bring your knitting TODAY to Ms. Quill's room at 2:30.  Please, please do bring in the $12.00 that was previously asked to cover expenses for buying the yarn for this project.  We look forward to seeing you all.

Key Club will meet on Thursday at 2.15 in room 2620.  Come along and find out what we've got planned for the New Year!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Seniors planning to attend a private technical trade school!  The Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools is offering a $1,000 scholarship to be used at one of its 21 member schools in Colorado.  Only 4 students from LHS may apply, and it's first come, first served.  Due date is Feb. 5th.  Stop by Post Grad to find out more.

Other Announcements:

Attention All Students and Parents!  Did you order your yearbook? You must submit payment to place an order for your yearbook.  Bring cash or check payments to the Bookkeeper or pay with a credit card online.  If you place an order online, only enter quantity, dollar amount will be automatically calculated.   Don't miss out on all the memories from the school year.  The yearbook deadline is January 15, 2016.

Students: Avoid a $20.00 parking ticket and get your Purple parking permit for $25.00, 1/2 price while quantities last. See the Bookkeeper for forms and required documents.

The Winter Dance is January 30, 2016. The guest forms are available at student services and the main office. They will be due Thursday January 28, 2016.

Blog Announcements:

Students – do you have a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free desktop computers for you. Since starting this program at Littleton High School we have helped over two hundred students receive a free home computer.  If you are in need of a computer please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or for more information.

Save the Date - Littleton High School's STEM Certificate Program will host their second annual "Hour of Code" event Wednesday, January 27th right after school in the LHS cafeteria any time between 2:30-4:30pm.  All LPS students and prospective LPS students, staff and family members are welcome to join us for a chance to prove to yourself that YOU, yes YOU can write a genuine piece of computer code in about an hour. We'll have food, music, laptops and everything you'll need to give this a try. An online registration will open on January 11, or you can find it on the LHS homepage. Sign up to attend, give coding a try!  If you have questions, please email Ms. Reimers, STEM Program Coordinator at rreimers@lps.k12.co.us.
