Congratulations to our Girls basketball team, they received the Paul Davis Sportsmanship Award. A huge shout out to Rebekah Sandstrom and Katie Puchino who made 2nd team All-Conference for Girls Basketball. Go Lions!
Special Events:
Make-A-Wish shirts are here!! Help Student Council reach its goal of $8000 for Dominic to go to Disney World by purchasing a cool Make-A-Wish shirt! You might have heard about these already in your Social Studies classes last week, if not, you can get an order form in the cafeteria, main office, library or attendance office starting today and going until March 7th. The shirts are gray with the Mickey Mouse ears behind the word Make a Wish and then Dominic's name in orange-his favorite color! They are only $12 and you can pay by cash or check. Let's show our support and buy shirts for you and your family!!
Club & Activity Announcements:
Key Club and NHS, if you want to take part in the Colorado Feeding Kids event this Saturday, please turn in permission slips to Ms. Anthamatten's box or bring them to her in room 2620 by the end of the day on Wednesday March 2nd. Thank you

Academic Announcements:
Students who are interested in a Teaching Career or Early Childhood Education – Please come to a recruitment lunch with free pizza on Thursday, March 3 during A & B lunches in the Post Grad office to learn more about LPS Teacher Cadets and ECE Programs. See the flyers throughout the building for more details. Please RSVP by March 2 if you plan to attend.
Attention Seniors! The Post Grad Center continues to receive scholarship opportunities every day. If you're searching for scholarships, be sure to check out the bulletin board in the Language Arts hallway where we've just posted lots of new opportunities.

Hello LHS Parents! We have our final Student Recognition Breakfast for 2015-2016 school year coming up on Wednesday, March 9 and need help with donations. This is a by invitation only event where teachers award select students special recognition in areas of academics, participation, and/or outstanding efforts.

Oh, how ADOREABLE!!! Parents of senior students.... we need a baby/toddler photograph of your senior to include in a memorable slideshow presentation for after-prom at Brunswick Zone. The After-prom committee will assemble baby photos, along with senior photographs, to honor our 2016 graduating class in a very special video montage. Please email a jpg image (please include the name of your senior in the email correspondence) to Barb Fantle at bjtfantle@gmail.com. Our committee will need these baby photos no later than March 31 to have them ready for the slideshow at after-prom. If you can email them prior to spring break, that would be best. Thanks in advance for your submittal. This will be a fun way to celebrate our senior students!
