STUDENT BULLETIN

Special Events:

Please help support children and mothers in need! Donate baby goods or non-perishable food items and bring them to the Counseling office. Make a difference in people’s lives and donate now through Friday, April 15th.  This is in support of the Marketing class “Big Idea” efforts. Thank you!

In 1996, students at the University of Virginia organized the first Day of Silence as a non-violent protest to combat harassment and bullying of LGBT individuals.  This movement has now reached all 50 states, the District of Columbia, New Zealand, Singapore and Russia.  Join other LHS members this Friday with your silent participation.  We will break the silence after school in the Theater with the movie “Inside Out” and a bake sale!

The LHS Garage Sale Fundraiser is this Saturday, April 16th, from 8 am – 3 pm, in the LHS front parking lot! Come on out and find new treasures or consider donating items for the sale! All proceeds benefit LHS Performing Arts and After Prom.  See the LHS website for more details!

Attention all students - the LHS Peer Counselors are hosting the “30 Pay it forward” challenge. Throughout the month of April, they are encouraging everyone to participate in "pay it forward" related acts, such as random acts of kindness, care and charity.  Stay tuned on facebook and instagram.   There is a special page on Facebook dedicated to this awesome challenge.  Be sure to like and follow the following facebook page "Lhspayitforwardchallenge."  Now let’s make a difference.

YOU! Yes, YOU!!!  The PTO after-prom committee still needs several volunteers to help chaperone at after-prom. We can not sponsor this event without the help of our LHS parents, so please don't wait for someone else to step up to lend a hand, as they are waiting for YOU.... This is a great opportunity for dad's to help out, since this is not an event occurring during the work week. Please consider asking your spouse to help out. Or find a friend and volunteer together. We are in need of 8-10 more parents. Thank you in advance for helping out. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4faca623a13-littleton/sign. Thank you, also, to everyone who has already stepped up and volunteered.

Summer School information is NOW available in the Counseling office.

Don't leave home without 'em.... your bags!  The LHS greenhouse will be the recipient of funds collected  April 1- July 1 from Whole Foods Southglenn's Bag Donation Credit Program.  Reuse your own bags and LHS gets 10 cents for each. Don't forget to mention resuse of produce bags. ALL customers, not just the LHS community, can direct their donation to the greenhouse.  Reduce, reuse, recycle and..... REWARD!  Total win-win.
