Special Events:

This Friday, LHS will be supporting a National Day of Silence.  Our Gay-Straight Alliance is hoping you will join in the effort to make anti- LGBT bullying, harassment and name-calling unacceptable in our school.  This will be observed throughout middle and high schools nation- wide as well as at the college level.  Students all over will be taking a vow of silence in an effort to encourage awareness of this ongoing issue.  Your voluntary silence can occur in the hallways and free time or by abstaining from social media for the day.  We will be breaking the silence with a Q & A and movie in the Theater after school.  Join us for “Inside Out” and a fundraising bake sale!  Let’s show up strong as an open and affirming community!

Attention all students - the LHS Peer Counselors are hosting the 30 Pay it forward challenge. Throughout the month of April, they are encouraging everyone to participate in "pay it forward" related acts, such as random acts of kindness, care and charity.  Every week there will be a new topic, so stay tuned on facebook and instagram.   There is a special page on Facebook dedicated to this awesome challenge.  Be sure to like and follow the following facebook page "Lhspayitforwardchallenge."  Now let’s make a difference.

YOU! Yes, YOU!!!  The PTO after-prom committee still needs several volunteers to help chaperone at after-prom. We can not sponsor this event without the help of our LHS parents, so please don't wait for someone else to step up to lend a hand, as they are waiting for YOU.... This is a great opportunity for dad's to help out, since this is not an event occurring during the work week. Please consider asking your spouse to help out. Or find a friend and volunteer together. We are in need of 8-10 more parents. Thank you in advance for helping out. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4faca623a13-littleton/sign. Thank you, also, to everyone who has already stepped up and volunteered.
