STUDENT BULLETIN

Academic Announcements:

Lockheed Martin Tutoring for students who need help in Math and Science will start next Wednesday, August 31st.  This is a free service to LHS students provided by Lockheed Martin Engineers.  Tutoring will be available every Wednesday and Thursday evening in room 1740 from 6:00-7:30pm.

Students, we are looking for two representatives to serve on our School Accountability Committee. This committee of teachers, parents, students, administrators, and community members works to support school improvement efforts.  The committee meets once each month on a Wednesday afternoon from 2:30 to 4 p.m.  It's a GREAT way to learn more about LHS and students from any grade level are welcome.  To apply, pick up an application in the Main Office today.  Return it by Tuesday, September 6th, at 8 a.m.  If we have more than two candidates, we will draw names by lottery.

An AUDITION WORKSHOP for the upcoming Fall play auditions will be held this Friday from 2:30-3 p.m. in the theater.  It is open to anyone that is planning to audition next week.  It will be an opportunity to ask questions of our more experienced theatre students and run your monologue.

Littleton High School is pleased to announce that we will once again offer a series of FREE engineering workshops which will be held on 10 Saturday mornings here at LHS this fall and next spring.  Instructors come from a wide variety of engineering fields, from corporations, government and institutions.  The workshops are super informative and FUN!  Please see LHS website for Shade of Blue workshop dates and the link to sign-up for the program.  Space is limited, don’t miss out.

Club & Activity Announcements:

If you are interested in learning more about Technology Student Association  come to our first meeting TODAY in room 215 (Tech lab in the basement) where we have food and demonstrations of some of the events. We will begin at 2:20 pm.

Student Council is meeting on Monday August 31st in the Forum from 2:20-3:00p.m.  PLEASE, PLEASE make sure if you are running for a freshmen class officer position you are at this meeting.  It is VERY important we get a list of all the potential candidates for office.  We also invite any student to come to our meeting and become an Ambassador.  This does not require as much of a time commitment as an officer, but we love having lots of Ambassadors!  See you there!
