Special Events:


Pictures & Photo IDs will be taken tomorrow in the South Gym during student’s Language Arts class. See LHS website to order pictures online or pick up an order form in the main office.

Students, please remind your parents that Back To School Night is tomorrow from 6:00-9:00pm and help them access your class schedule. Everyone will begin the evening in the Theater and then rotate through their student’s classes to meet the teacher and review course overview.

Academic Announcements:

Littleton High School is pleased to announce that we will once again offer a series of FREE engineering workshops which will be held on 10 Saturday mornings here at LHS this fall and next spring.  Instructors come from a wide variety of engineering fields, from corporations, government and institutions.  The workshops are super informative and FUN!  Please see LHS website for Shade of Blue workshop dates and the link to sign-up for the program.  Space is limited, don’t miss out.

Sports Announcements:

Attention Freshman Track Athletes, please join Coach Koepke in the Weight Room TODAY at 2:30 for a brief informational meeting.  Track On!

Baseball practice is TODAY at 3:30pm on the baseball field for all players who are not playing a Fall Sport.  See you there!

Do you like to mountain bike? Have you ever thought about racing? Join the Littleton Composite Mountain Bike Team!  An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, August 24 at 2:30 pm @ Heritage High School, Room 329.  See the flyer in cafeteria for more information.

Club & Activity Announcements:

The Model United Nations Club will have its first meeting on Wednesday in Room 2609 in the Social Studies Hallway. Anyone who is interested in learning about international affairs and participating in Model UN Conferences, planning Littleton High School's International Education Week, and summer study abroad opportunities should attend.

Key Club will meet for this first time this year in the courtyard at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday 25th August.  Key Club is a service organization offering you the chance to make new friends while serving your local community.  Come and find out more!  EVERYONE is welcome.

Are you interested in a new club to join? Join Technology Student Association  where you can design, create, and compete in over 40 events. If you are interested in learning more about Technology Student Association  come to our first meeting is Thursday, August 25 in room 215 (Tech lab in the basement) where we have food and demonstrations of some of the events. We will begin at 2:20 pm.

Other Announcements:

Students, if you did not get your laptop during Seminar on Friday and you have brought back your Opt-in form, you can check out your laptop before or after school or during lunches in the Library.

Freshman or Sophomores, if you did not get a student planner, please see the bookkeeper.

Senior Announcements:

Graduation packets to order announcements, caps and gowns will be given out during Senior Seminar on Wednesday, August 31.

Seniors – We will have a photographer at LHS on September 15 and 16 taking senior portraits. Please see Friday Flyer for more information.

Blog Announcements:

PTO often post some quick, one time volunteer opportunities on our website.  This week we need volunteers to help with Student Picture Day or if you love to bake, we need volunteers to bring baked goods to school for Back To School Night.  See PTO Volunteer link below to sign up.

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  Many college representatives will be visiting the Post Grad Center in the next few weeks.  We already have more than 30 scheduled!  You can see a complete list of visiting colleges (and sign up to attend!) on your Naviance account under the "Colleges" tab.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to get the inside scoop on colleges you are considering!

School Accountability Opening - LHS needs one new parent member for the School Accountability Committee/SAC. SAC is an important committee made up of parents, students, community members, and staff. They are a vital part of the school improvement process. SAC committee meets monthly at the school, generally on the third or fourth Wednesday of the month, from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
