Student Recognition and Congratulations:

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams who swept the Standley Lake Gators last Night! The Varsity improved their record to 12-3 heading into the final two weeks of regular season play. Mallory Burbage led the offense with 18 kills as Emma Parkhurst dished out 31 assists, and Julia Jobanputra added 5 aces for the match. Congratulations ladies!

Sports Announcements:

TONIGHT’s soccer game versus Valor Christian is going to be a White Out Game sponsored by the StuCo Hype Committee...come wear all white and cheer on the boys to victory! Game time-7pm-see you there!

Our Lions football takes on Palmer High School Terrors TONIGHT at 6pm at Garry Berry Stadium in Colorado Springs.  Good luck team!

Please join us at the Varsity Boys Soccer game on Tuesday night October 18th, 7pm, Littleton stadium.  We will be celebrating Senior Night and hoping that a victory will vault us into the playoffs.

Open gyms continue this evening for girls basketball in the weight room at 6:15 and we hit the court from 7:00-8:30.  Everyone is welcome who is considering trying out in November.  Basketball season is only a month away!

Special Events:

Don’t miss the LHS Theater Department and their production of the comedy "Greater Tuna"!  A show about all the quirky characters who live in the 3rd smallest town in Texas.  Tuna, Texas!  The show will take place TONIGHT and Friday at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.

Teen Book Con will be at Littleton High School on Saturday, October 15th.  This is an awesome all day event hosted by the Tattered Cover.  This event, open exclusively to teens, is free, but you must register! The Stride is on Sunday, October 30th. Can we win the $1,000 prize for the high school with the greatest participation again this year? See a member of the PE department for a form, or register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put Littleton in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!! Bring your friends and family and come and Stride with us!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  Admissions representatives from Western State Colorado University, Gunnison, CO will be visiting LHS TODAY at noon. Please sign up on your Naviance account to attend.

Attention 11th & 12th graders who want to take classes at ACC next semester, you need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Thursday, October 13 at 2:15 pm in room 1610.

Attention Juniors and Sophomores:  The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Sign-ups have begun and conclude Friday, October 14th.  Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). Space is limited so do not wait until the last minute!

Attention college-bound Seniors:  If you have not signed up for a Senior Meeting in the Post Grad Center, or if you missed the meeting you signed up for, please sign up for and attend a meeting as soon as possible.  Meetings will only be held through November 4th.  If you cannot find a meeting date and time during an off period or lunch, please stop by Post Grad, and we'll work something out.  Here is the link to the sign up:

Club & Activity Announcement:

The GSA is hosting its first movie day after school TODAY. All of LHS is welcome to come see "CAMP!" for free in the Forum at 2:30 next Thursday. Admission is free, and snacks are available for purchase.

Class t-shirts will be available for pick up or sale if you did not get yours at Homecoming.  Student Council will be doing spirit days throughout the year, plus we still have two pep rallies coming up; so you will WANT to get your class shirt.  Go down to the concession stand TODAY during both lunches and after school and pick up your shirt, or buy one for only $5.




Blog Announcements:

Attention Seniors applying to college!  Remember that you must have submitted your application to your college before you request to have your transcript sent.  AND your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline!  That means that if your college application deadline is November 15th, you need to have submitted your application and requested your transcript by November 1st!  We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:

Every Student Needs to Visit a College Campus!  Wondering how to spend your time over October break?  Many families at LHS and across the country use school breaks to visit college campuses.  And now you can too for free!  All students are invited to participate in a visit to the University of Colorado's Denver campus on Thursday, October 20th, 9:30am-3:15pm., including lunch provided at no charge! Online sign up is on the Announcements part of  the LHS homepage.  Spaces are limited and registration closes Friday, October 14th.

For students needing help in Math & Science, Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740.  Please use the forum entrance.
