Student Recognition and Congratulations:

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the costume contest yesterday!  3rd place-Sierra Kennedy as a Tribal Princess, 2nd place Blake Anderson as a House, and 1st place--the Scooby Doo Gang of Zach Hansen, Alex Green, Kate Kacerovskis, Rafael Flavier and Margaret Kerr.  Thanks for participating, head up to the Social Studies office during lunch to get your Prizes from Ms. Prestel!

Special Events:

Halloween O Gram candy is still available from Ms Prestel up in the Social Studies office.  If you received a Halloween O Gram but forgot to get your candy after school yesterday, you can stop by after school TODAY and pick it up.

Sports Announcements:

Open gym for girls basketball continues this Wednesday evening with our workout from 6:30-7:00 and 7:00-8:30 on the court.  All girls who plan to tryout for the upcoming season (in just 2 weeks!) are encouraged to attend.
Preseason Camp begins on Monday and tryouts are one week from Friday.  Hope to see you there!

Attention Lady Lion Fish Swimmers - Coach Seavall will be having optional pre season swim practices this Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-4:00.
Attention Lady Lion Fish Swimmers and Divers - Please plan to meet at the pool on Thursday November 3rd at 3:00 for swim suit and apparel sizing. Also please remind your parents that there is a parents meeting on Thursday November 3rd at 4:00 in the pool area

Your Lion Ultimate mixed team takes on Denver East Today at home.

Club & Activity Announcement:

Attention all TSA members, we have run-offs on Thursday.  Please see our website for further details and plan on coming to the meeting.  You must be present to hold your spot in your events.  See you Thursday at 2:20 in the Tech lab.

The Gay Straight Alliance, also known as the GSA, meets every Thursday afternoon in 1602 from 2:30 - 3:30. Come for some snacks and good company. All are welcome!

The FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting Thursday, November 3rd, right after school in the Culinary room.

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  An admissions representative from the International College of Liberal Arts Yamanashi Gakuin University in Kofu, Japan, will be visiting LHS in the Post Grad Center on Thursday, Nov. 3rd, at 11:00 am.

The Swim Proficiency tests at LHS will be November 7th and November 8th at 2:30 sharp! Sign-up in the Counseling Office, space is limited to the first 30 students per session.

Encore Parent Meeting - Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 6:30 pm in the Choir Room. Parents/Guardians/Students are invited. Agenda: Performing Arts Trip, Holiday Concert, Special events and Fundraising ideas.

Lion Pride Preview Night is Thursday, November 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 pm. This event is for 8th grade students and their parents. Littleton Follies PTO Bake sale is November 10th & 11th and we needs your help!  Please sign up here to contribute.

Attention Seniors looking for alternatives to 4 year college (such as trade and technical schools, community college certificate programs, apprenticeships, and more)!  Post Grad will be holding informational meetings at the beginning of second semester during lunch periods.  Keep your eyes and ears open for dates!

Hope For Haiti.  This is a program started by one of our seniors-Hadley Hindeman-and she would like our help for the victims of the hurricane that recently hit Haiti.  The Red Cross is asking mainly for personal items for the victims including: shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste etc... So, Student Council joined in and thought to ask each class to donate an item:  Freshmen-soap, Sophomores-shampoo, Juniors-Toothbrush or toothpaste, and Seniors-deodorant. There will be bins will be in the lobby and Ms. Prestel's room starting Mon. Nov. 7th.

Attention Seniors applying to college!  Remember that you must have submitted your application to your college before you request to have your transcript sent.  AND your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline!  That means that if your college application deadline is November 15th, you need to have submitted your application and requested your transcript by November 1st!  We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:
