Student Recognition and Congratulations:

Congrats to our girls basketball Varsity and C teams who had some great efforts over the weekend at the Douglas County Tournament and here at home vs. DSST.  Come out tonight to support all 3 of our teams playing at 4:00, 5:30, and 7:00 here at LHS.  Our JV team takes on Castle View and our C and Varsity teams take on rival Heritage.  We'd love to have a strong crowd behind as our Varsity tries to beat the Eagles for 5th straight season!

The LHS Speech and Debate team had another strong showing on Saturday at the Cherry Creek High School Winter Wonder.  Sam Burke placed 6th overall in Program Oral Interp, and Kelly Steinberg was tournament champion in Humor.  Also performing well were Ben Greenly, Natalie Parkhurst, Rebecca Zickerman, Hayley Hamilton, and Jack Rayner, who all earned Excellent distinction.  Earning Superior distinction awards were Ashyln McVicar, Hannah Pedersen, Will Dinneen, Kathy Le, Avery Zieper and Abby Moses.  Great effort everyone!
