Student Recognition and Congratulations:
Congratulations to all 3 girls basketball teams who defeated Thomas Jefferson last night. Our varsity girls fought hard to win 43-42 and were led by junior Sarah Payson's 11 points, junior Rebekah Sandstrom's 11 points and 10 rebounds, and junior Katie Puchino's 10 including the game's go-ahead basket! Our varsity Lions are now 5-2 and take on Denver South here at home next Tuesday night.
Special Events:
Time to get into the Holiday Spirit!! Today is the ever popular Ugly Christmas/Holiday Sweater Day!! We will have a competition today, so head up to Ms. Prestel's room (2618) during A and B lunches and get your picture taken and you might win a cool prize!
Attention Seniors: All senior photos are posted in the senior hallway. This is your last chance to see them before they go to print. Please stop by the senior hallway and check out your photo. If you have any concerns, please contact Mrs. Fisher asap!
Gather all your friends, the photos are so enticing! On January 5th from 2 to 5 PM get together at the Family Sports Center for some fun! Mention you are with LHS and you will receive $1 off admissions!
Clubs and Activities:
Key Club T shirts have arrived. If you ordered a shirt, you can pick it up from Mr. Hahn in the counseling office. Please bring your payment if you have not already paid. You will not be able to take your shirt until you have paid for it.
The Art club will be sponsoring a Finals Detox Next Tuesday the 20th From 11:20 to 2:30 in room 1218. Come make Christmas ornaments, snowflakes, and more. They will be showing a movie for you while you doodle and make art with your friends! Everyone is invited so please bring whoever you would like. Food will be provided.

Transcripts! Attention Seniors applying to college! Remember that your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline! This means that if your college application deadline is January 1st or 15th, you need to have requested and paid for your transcript before the break! We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:
