Academic Announcements:

Students - Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30pm in room1740.  Take advantage of this awesome free service.  The Lockheed Martin tutors are so committed to this program that they wanted to be here this evening even through there is no school tomorrow.   Good time to work on homework for next week!  Please use the forum entrance.

Take the challenge!  The Marines will be here Monday, March 7th in the cafeteria during lunches with their pull up bar.  Stop by and take the challenge!

Attention Seniors, do you have Lunch Money in your account?  Now is the time to use up any lunch money in your account!! Today is the day to buy lunch or a snack.  Unsure if you have a balance? Ask one of the Littleton Kitchen Staff.  For more information see the Blog section of the announcements.

Make-A-Wish shirts are here!!  Help Student Council reach its goal of $8000 for Dominic to go to Disney World by purchasing a cool Make-A-Wish shirt!  You can get an order form in the cafeteria, main office, library or attendance office until March 7th. The shirts are gray with the Mickey Mouse ears behind the word Make a Wish and then Dominic's name in orange-his favorite color! They are only $12 and you can pay by cash or check.  Let's show our support and buy shirts for you and your family!!

Seniors - If you still have lunch money in your account, as of May 20, 2016, please have your parents contact the Nutrition Services Office.  The office can transfer the balance to a sibling or process a refund.  You can also “pay it forward” and donate the money to a “LunchShares” fund.  It has been our privilege to serve you!!  Congratulations Class of 2016!  The Littleton Kitchen Staff and LPS Nutrition Services Department

Hello LHS Parents!  We have our final Student Recognition Breakfast for 2015-2016 school year coming up on Wednesday, March 9 and need help with donations.  This is a by invitation only event where teachers award select students special recognition in areas of academics, participation, and/or outstanding efforts.  Please click on the link below to donate items to this great event.

Oh, how ADOREABLE!!!  Parents of senior students.... we need a baby/toddler photograph of your senior to include in a memorable slideshow presentation for after-prom at Brunswick Zone. The After-prom committee will assemble baby photos, along with senior photographs, to honor our 2016 graduating class in a very special video montage. Please email a jpg image (please include the name of your senior in the email correspondence) to Barb Fantle at bjtfantle@gmail.com.  Our committee will need these baby photos no later than March 31 to have them ready for the slideshow at after-prom. If you can email them prior to spring break, that would be best. Thanks in advance for your submittal. This will be a fun way to celebrate our senior students!

Congratulations to our Girls basketball team, they received the Paul Davis Sportsmanship Award.  A huge shout out to Rebekah Sandstrom and Katie Puchino who made 2nd team All-Conference for Girls Basketball.  Go Lions!

STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Last week marked the end of the wrestling season.  While Poe Di, Scott Corwin, and Aron Pino Valenzuela all wrestled hard at the state tournament, only Aron Pino made it to the medal rounds placing 6th.  Congratulations to all wrestlers on a great season.

Congratulations to your LHS speech and debate team.  This past weekend they competed at their regional state qualifying tournament.  Qualifying for state were Senior Lucy Haggard in Humorous Intepretation of Literature, Junior Kelly Steinberg, also in humor, and Junior Ellen Huggins for Original Oratory.  They will compete at the state tournament in Ft. Collins on March 18th and 19th.

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  An admissions representative from Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas, will visit LHS on Tuesday, March 1st, at 9:00am.  Please sign up on your Naviance account to attend.

Come play Lion Ultimate this spring! Practices are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 to 5. First practice is TODAY as is the yearbook photo. Meet at the front of the school by 2:30.  For more information talk to Ms. Maggie Chen.

Attention all Student Council officers, ambassadors and general council members, we have a General Council meeting TODAY in the forum at 2:20.  PLEASE make sure you are there because we are getting our Yearbook pictures taken plus setting up all of our Make-a-Wish plans and committees!

Knitting Club Members, we have our meeting TODAY 2/29 (yes, leap day) in Ms. Quill's room.  If you have paid already, Ms. Q and Ms. A thank you immensely, if not, PLEASE BRING YOUR KNITTED SQUARE (even if you haven't completed it) and $12.00 as well.  We look forward to seeing you there.  We will gather all knitted squares before spring break to complete our project.
