Student Recognition and Congratulations:
Congratulations to our varsity girls basketball team who took down the 2 time defending state champion Valor Eagles last night, (43-36) on Valor’s home floor! Our #10 ranked Lions are now 12-4 on the season! Special thanks to all the LHS students and parents who came out to Valor and made it feel like a home game. You helped lead the comeback! Please come out and support our Lions this Friday night as they take on Standley Lake here at LHS!"
Clubs and Activities:
FBLA members don't forget that we are just two weeks away from districts. Drop by to see Mrs. Martin if you need help with your presentation or have computer equipment issues. Stop by to get a field trip form for you teachers to sign. They are available in the Business Office!
The art contest is here! Art club is hosting a new year’s art competition with the theme; "Your hope for the new year". Make the best piece you can of any medium showing your resolutions. Make sure to find an art teacher or art club officer to get more information on the competition and have your work turned in for judging by February 14th at the latest. Go do good art!
Key Club will meet this Today at 2.15 in room 2620. Come and find out about the activities we have planned for this semester!
Hey Littleton High School! NHS will be sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, February 2nd and Friday, February 3rd here at LHS. Students under 18 will need a signed parental consent form. There are only 40 slots available each day, so please see Mr. Hahn or Ms. Fritz with questions and to sign up to donate on an off hour!
Special Events:
Attention All Students: This week is your LAST week to pre-order a yearbook! We will have some books for sale at the end of the year, but they will be on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee that you will get one as we do sell out every year. To make sure you get a yearbook, you should pre-order this week with the bookkeeper.
Academics:
Attention - 11th & 12th graders that want to take classes at Arapahoe Community College need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment/ACTS Meeting on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:15 p.m. in Room 1610
Attention IB-track sophomores:
There is an important meeting for you this Today, January 26, regarding the decision to continue into the IB Diploma Program next year, or to exit. Come to the Forum during A or B lunch. We will share important information about the IB commitment, including course registration details and a letter for your parents. This meeting is mandatory for IB-track sophomores. Feel free to bring your lunch. Questions?? See Ms. Anderson or Mrs. Stulock in the IB office in the library.
Sports:
There will be a girls tennis meeting on January 31st at 2:25 in room 1219 for all girls interested in going out for girl's tennis.
Blog Announcements:
Attention NHS members! This week we are sponsoring a collection drive for families in need! We will be collecting bottles, diapers, or any lightly used toys (see full list of everything that can be collected posted around school and on the NHS Facebook page). Collection boxes will be in the counseling office and in the LA/Math office. Bring 2-3 items to fulfill the service project requirement.
Attention students needing help with Math or Science - Lockheed Martin Tutoring will resume next week. Lockheed Martin Engineers come every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6:00-7:30pm to tutor our students. This is a free and amazing service they provide. Tutoring is in room 1740, please use the Forum entrance.
Attention Seniors! Post Grad is receiving new scholarship opportunities every day. Check the bulletin board in the Language Arts hallway outside of Post Grad often.
Transcripts! Attention Seniors applying to college! Remember that your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline! We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:
