Student Recognition and Congratulations:

Congratulations to our entire girls basketball program who swept conference rival D'Evelyn last night.  With the win our C Team is now 10-1, our JV 8-2, and our varsity moves to 10-4.  Our varsity Lions defeated the #6 Jaguars by a score of 43-42.  Senior Maddie Fuchs led the scoring with 10 and junior Bekah Sandstrom pulled down 18 rebounds.  Great job Lions

Clubs and Activities:

The Role Playing Club will be meeting in Room 1606 every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 - 3:30. This is a great opportunity to get your Magic on"

FCCLA/Culinary Club will have the first meeting of the new year on Today, January 19th in the Culinary room.  Anyone is welcome to join!

Academics:

Attention Juniors & Seniors.  An admissions rep from Johnson & Wales University will be here to meet with students Today, January 19th at 9:00 in the Post Grad Center. Please sign up on Naviance to attend this meeting."

Seniors,If you applied for college first semester, please be advised that your mid-year transcripts will automatically be sent to your college’s starting later this week.

Seniors: Today, January 19 we will hold a planning meeting to discuss your end-of-year activities and SWAG.  All seniors are invited to attend.  We will meet from 2:25-3:00 in the forum today.  See Mr. Amonson if you cannot attend and have ideas.

Attention students needing help with Math or Science - Lockheed Martin Engineers come every Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm to tutor our students.  This is a free and amazing service they provide.  Tutoring is in room 1740, please use the Forum entrance.

Hour of Code:

Littleton High School's STEM Certificate Program will host our third annual "Hour of Code" event Wednesday, January 25th right after school in the LHS cafeteria any time between 2:30-4:30pm.  All LPS students and prospective LPS students,  staff and family members are welcome to join us for a chance to prove to yourself that YOU, yes YOU can write a genuine piece of computer code in about an hour.

Bring your laptop or Chromebook and headphones...We'll have food, music, laptops if you need to borrow one and everything you'll need to give this a try. For inspiration and to learn why  you want to come, watch this super short video that will convince you that everyone needs to know about coding.  Online registration is now open.

Carbs before you compete. Protein after you compete. Chocolate milk is the perfect recovery drink. Carbonated beverages hurt your performance.  Which is true? Which is false? How do you know what you should eat when to perform your best on the field and in the classroom? Join us for a nutrition presentation about properly fueling the high school athlete on Mon., Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Forum. $5 at the door for individuals, $10 for families. Proceeds benefit LHS Cross Country.

Transcripts!  Attention Seniors applying to college!  Remember that your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline!  We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:
