Student Congratulations and Recognition

Congratulations to our TSA. Sam Riebling, Luke Walters-Hooey, Lex Graham, Kai Hueske, Van Ceylon, Beth Rossman, Eliska Martinez, Hannah Sanders, Anna Maestas, Kiefer Wilkins, Steve Williams, Kathryn Allee, Pieter Van Leewan, Anne Mashak, Aiden Murray, Sam Burke & Andrew Carpender all qualified for Nationals placing in 9 different events.  They placed 4th overall, great job to all. They will be headed to Orlando, Florida at the end of June.

Academics:

Tomorrow, February 28th there will be an information session for students interested in the Early Childhood Program, Teacher Cadet Program or Fashion Design Program during A and B lunches in the cafeteria.

Reminder: The deadline to submit the Concurrent Enrollment Paperwork is Tomorrow, February 28th. Students must return the completed packet to Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office.

Attention Juniors:  An admissions rep from the University of Missouri, in Columbia, MO, will be here to meet with students Thursday, March 2, at 1:00 in the Post Grad Center. Please sign up on Naviance to attend.

Clubs and Activities:

There is a PEAS Club meeting on Tuesday the 28th, in room 1324. We will be making and decorating posters!"

FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting this Thursday, right after school in room 1972.  If you are on a Salsa War team, please be sure to bring your recipe and all your ingredients.

Attention all Student Council students who are participating in Read Across America, there is a VERY important informational meeting today Feb. 27th. You MUST be there! If you cannot make it, see Ms. Prestel ASAP. THANKS!

Are you thinking about checking out Ultimate Frisbee Club? Spring practice starts on today at Goddard from 3-5. ​Bring your cleats and learn the the fun and fast sport of ultimate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Special Event:

Seniors: Jostens will be here Tomorrow, February 28, 2017 from 10:30 am  to 1:00 pm in the senior hall to deliver Senior Graduation Announcements and Mugs.

The Drowsy Chaperone
It's SHOW WEEK!  Come and enjoy the Littleton High School "Mane Stage" Production of the musical The Drowsy Chaperone!  Tickets are now being sold in the cafeteria during A and B lunch.  The shows are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Sports:

Track and Field Starts today at 3p in the Stadium... See you there!

Blog Announcements:

Attention Seniors - Post Grad has created a new list of current scholarships which is now available on Naviance.  New additions are added regularly, so check the list often!

Monday 2/27   Fundraiser for After Prom today,  February 27th  from 4 pm-close at Romano’s Italian Restaurant on Windermere. Just show up and mention LHS when you pay, and 20% of the proceeds will go to your After Prom!

Attention Seniors:
Graduation is approaching do you have money in your lunch account?
The end of the year is coming,  now is the time to monitor your lunch account.  Buy lunch or a snack or pay off a negative balance.  Unsure of your balance?  Ask one of the Nutrition Services Kitchen Staff.If you still have money in your account, as of May 22, 2017, please have your parents contact the Nutrition Services Office.  The office can transfer the balance to a sibling or process a refund.  You can also “pay it forward” and donate the money to a “Lunch Shares” fund.
