Student Congratulations and Recognition:

Congratulations to our speech and debate team.  They competed at George Washington High School over the weekend at their regional state qualifying tournament.  Qualifying for state:

Academics:

Spring Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 7th from 4:00 - 7:30pm in the South Gym and Cafeteria.  There is no school on Friday, March 10th.  Special guests at conferences - Lockheed Martin Engineering tutors will have a table in the South Gym from 5:30-7:30pm to talk to parents and students about the tutoring program and more.  Families, we encourage you to stop by the Lockheed Martin table, especially if your student is struggling in Math or Science

Clubs and Activities:

Come join the  “Sign Language Club” this Wednesday, March 8th in room 1102! This is the first meeting where members can learn the alphabet and their name in sign language! Bring yourself and your friends to the meeting!

Attention all Student Council officers, ambassadors and general council members we have a Student council meeting today March 6 at 2:20 in the forum. We are getting our Yearbook picture taken, so please wear your Student Council shirts or your class shirt. See you there! Freshmen student council members, just a reminder that we are meeting today after the genco meeting to discuss details for our upcoming community service project.  We will assign duties and go over logistics, so please plan on attending."

Blog Announcements:

Attention students (especially Juniors)!  The Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling (RMACAC) will be having a spring college fair on Sunday, March 19th, 1:00-3:30, at the University of Denver Ritchie Center.  Over 160 in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities will be there.  It is free, and you are not required to register, but if you'd like to, you can register at gotocollegefairs.com.

Attention students needing help in Math or Science - Lockheed Martin Engineers come every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6:00-7:30pm to tutor our students.  This is a free and amazing tutoring service that Lockheed Martin provides.  Tutoring is in room 1740, please use the Forum entrance.

Attention Seniors - Post Grad has created a new list of current scholarships which is now available on Naviance.  New additions are added regularly, so check the list often!
