STUDENT BULLETIN

Congratulations and Recognition:

Congratulations to Mrs. Erin Mann, Littleton High School Science Teacher! Mrs. Mann has been honored with the 2017 CU Boulder Outstanding Educator Award.  This award recognizes teachers around the state who go above and beyond to support students as they pursue their higher education dreams.  Mrs. Mann earned a BA in Geology from CU Boulder, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from CU Denver.  She has taught science for 29 years, mostly at Littleton High School, but also at George Washington HS, Arapahoe HS, and at Woodstock School, in Mussoorie, India.  Congratulations, Mrs. Mann!

Academics:

Students, thank you for a successful chromebook collection on Wednesday. Nearly 900 computers have been turned.  We appreciate the flexibility of the Language Arts Department.  If you have not turned in your computer or charger please take that to the library today!  Fines will be placed into IC for missing chromebooks and chargers.  The replacement cost of a chromebook is $150 and $25 for a charger.  Please get those turned it today!

SENIORS---If you want your senior shirt BEFORE friday morning, please come by the senior hall during  A and B lunch Thursday-today-to pick it up!  If you do not get it now, you can pick it up at the Senior breakfast Friday morning.

This Friday is the last day for our seniors here at LHS!  We will say goodbye to them through an Assembly at the end of the day on Friday.  We hope to see you all there!  And, after the assembly is an old fashioned play day with games and a free BBQ down on the grass soccer fields--this is our SPRING FLING!  If the weather interferes with our spring fling, we will let you know our other plans

The STEM Certificate Program is proud to announce our largest graduating class since the program began three years ago.  Please stop by the display case in the front lobby to see customized posters for each of the graduates.

Attention Seniors!  This week, May 15-19, the Post Grad Center will be conducting Senior Exit Interviews between 8:30 and 2:30 every day!  You MUST stop by the Post Grad and complete a few activities before you can pick up your cap and gown for graduation.  Also, please pay all outstanding fees/fines before you come see us.  Almost there!

Clubs and Activities:

Come on down to the art club's second detox for finals on Tuesday 23rd, there will fun crafts and food and we’ll be voting between to movies to watch come unstress yourself with art,thanks for the help.

Anybody interested in playing Football next fall, join us for a short meeting after school  tomorrow @ 220pm in the Health Room. We will talk about getting ready for our Spring Camp which starts on May 30th.

There will be an informational meeting for those interested in boys tennis today, May 18th at 2:25 in room 1219.

Your library materials are due tomorrow May 19th.

Blog Announcements:

Attention Seniors: There are order cards available at student services and in the main office, for “Grad Images” who will be taking a picture of you receiving your diploma. If you want to order one, please fill out a card and hand it back into student services before graduation day.

Attention Seniors!  If you are headed for military service next year, please drop by your counselor's office as soon as possible and let them know.
