Congratulations to your LHS "Lion Pride" Marching Band for their Exceptional Performances this past Saturday at the Colorado State Fair Parade. The Band placed 2nd in the 4A Division and 2nd in the Overall Sweepstakes!! Go Band!!"
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Congratulations to The Lions Cross Country Team on their successes at the D'Evelyn Dash this Saturday! In the girls race, senior Addi Iken took first place with an astounding 19 minute 7 second time. The girls did well overall, with great contributions from underclassmen as well as upper classmen. On the boys side, good performances were seen all around, with some spectacular ones by our juniors and sophomores. Wish the XC team luck on their next race at the Arapahoe Warriors Invitational!
Support your Lions Spirit teams and football team and show off the best of your school spirit at this Friday's game against Gateway. Wear purple and gold to kickoff the season with Lion pride!

Technology Student Association is having a meeting on Thursday, August 31st. Come check out the club, meet the officer team, and have some fun! Meetings are in the tech lab after school. Come see what TSA is all about!
If you want to get involved in LHS, come to the Student Council meeting today August 28th after school in the forum! We will be talking about Homecoming activities and signing up anyone who wants to be an ambassador for their class or any freshmen who want to be an officer. Come one, come all-everyone is welcome!
Lion Ultimate mixed season begins today! Practices are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 starting today. Come on down to the baseball field ready to run. All LHS students are welcomed!
Calling all artist If you like art and you wanna have something to do come on by room 1218 on Tuesday the 29th at 2:30, there will be food and refreshments provided so come on by for an artastic time.
