 CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Film Makers! We will have our first Film Club meeting today, 9/28 after school in Ms. Fritz' room (1749). All are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Key Club is meeting today, September 28 in room 2620 at 2:25.  We will be making dog toys for the dumb friends league and everyone is welcome to come help.  If you have a men's t-shirt you'd like to donate or a good pair of scissors to use, feel free to bring those, but it is not required.

Speech and debate students, please remember that all debaters are meeting with Coach Saliman in 1746,all extemp and informative students are meeting with Coach Thieme in 1745 after school today, and tomorrow all team members have mandatory team meeting  in the forum after school."

Political Committee is meeting today, so if you are interested in making a difference at LHS and working with administrators and teachers, this is the club for you!  We meet in room 2608 right after school.  See Mrs. Sutterer if you have questions.

Come join Sign Language Club on Monday October 2nd for the first meeting this year! The meeting will be held in Miss Kron's room, 1102.

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The PSAT is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th at 7:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Bring $20 and register in the counseling office.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come out to support your Littleton Lions Ultimate team as they take on Cherry Creek High School today at 5:00pm on the grass soccer field. Come show your support and help cheer them to victory!

Our LHS Cross Country team crushed it Tuesday night at the Littleton Lions Invitational. Sophomore Hailey Lockhart got first and Junior Rachel Tobler got third in the girls varsity race, and the girls got third overall. For our boys, Junior Christian Sapakoff got third and Freshman Cooper Brown got ninth in the boys varsity. The boys got second overall. Our boys open team won its division, led by Junior Henry Jackson who finished first and had a great PR. You can catch the cross country team next on October 7 at Windjammer!

Congratulations to the mountain bike team for their efforts in the cold on Sunday.  Senior Natalie Lasater placed 52 and Senior Alessandra Miller places 42 while Junior Brieghton Miller finished 33.. Sophomore Nicholass Russo placed 56 and Sophomore Calivin Vandenburg 89th. Freshman Zack Leaf and Mason Capps placed 122 and 125. As of now, we have five riders that are lined up to qualify and race at state.

Attention girls- the Lady Lion Fish are looking for swimmers and divers to be a part of the Swim and Dive Team this Winter Season.  There will be a short informational meeting today,Thursday Sept. 28 in the pool area, 3:00. Please plan to stop by to say hi to Coach Seavall, Coach Elliott, and Coach Ambrozic.

Come support the Lions football teams as they take on the George Washington Patriots. Game Schedules:
Varsity- Today, Sept 28th at 7:00pm, DPS (South High School).  ALL City Stadium has lots of construction and they requested that the visitors park on the east side of the stadium. C-TEAM-  Saturday, Sept 30th at 10am, LHS lower field

The first home volleyball game of the season is tonight, starting at 4pm with the sophs and freshmen teams, 5:30 for JV, then finishing with the Varsity at 6:30.  And to help them get their first home WIN of the season, show your LHS Spirit by coming in HAWAIIAN ATTIRE!!  Wear your best Hawaiian shirt OR pick up a Lei at the door!  See you there!
