 CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

FBLA members - we will NOT have a meeting today, October 5.  Please watch your REMIND texts for upcoming information and check the website.  Mark your calendar with WEDNESDAY, October 18 2:30 to 3:30 for stock market challenge training.

TSA is having a meeting today, October 5th downstairs in the tech lab. Come on down to sign up for events and learn about runoffs for the state conference. Make sure you've paid your dues. We hope to see you there!

Are you good at juggling, how about tap dancing, singing or maybe you are good at Slam Poetry!?  If so, we want YOU to audition for the LHS Talent/Variety Show called Lions Follies! Sign up sheets are located on the bulletin boards in the Language Arts hall and in the Drama hall.  Auditions are on Friday Oct. 13, Tuesday Oct. 17 and Wed. Oct. 18th starting at  2:30. In the Forum. See you there!

Please come to the Leo Club meeting on Monday, October 9th after school in the cafe. We will be starting an amazing volunteer project where we play croquet with senior citizens from a local nursing home. Join our wonderful club!

Littleton High School is very proud to present The Crucible, by Arthur Miller.The Crucible, by Arthur Miller.The Devil has come to Littleton! Littleton High is very proud to present The Crucible, by Arthur Miller. The play, a classic of modern American theatre, is exciting and illuminating, full of unforgettable characters. The Crucible is both a historical drama about the real life Salem witch trials and a metaphor for abuse of power, paranoia, and insinuation. This production is done in the Expressionistic style, using harsh contrasts in light and shadow, larger than life characterizations, and costume designs from several different eras. Expect to be terrified.Performances are Thursday, October 12th and Friday, October 13th at 7:00 pm in the Mane Stage Theatre. General Admission tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and free for Seniors over the age of 65. They can be purchased at the box office during school lunches, at the door before each performance, or online at lhsperformingarts.net.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tonight is your Lions Volleyball annual Pink Night. We hope to raise awareness of breast cancer and celebrate survivors, support those fighting and remember those who lost their fight. Come out and cheer on your volleyballers as they take on Valor and help out a great cause. Level 3 and 4 play at 4:30, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 6:30. Remember to wear your pink gear!

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The following colleges will send their admissions reps this week.  Details regarding date and time are posted on student’s Naviance accounts, under the "Colleges" tab. Students should sign up on Naviance to attend, and they should stop by Post Grad prior to the meeting to pick up a pass to attend.

STEM STUDENTS- Don't forget today is STEM GAMES. Grab your lunch and come to the Forum to have some fun, flex your STEM brain, and compete for prizes. See Mrs. Bartlett if you still want to sign up or have any questions.

The PSAT is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th at 7:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Bring $20 and register in the counseling office.

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Stride is on Sunday, October 29th. Can we win the $1,000 prize for the high school with the greatest participation again this year? See a member of the PE department for a form, or register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put Littleton in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!! Bring your friends and family and come and Stride with us!

Bettinger Photography will be here, on campus, to take FREE senior portraits of any student who did not submit a photo before the deadline.  Please come to the main lobby at your appointed time to get your picture taken or see Mrs. Fisher if you have a conflict.
In addition, ANY senior is welcome to take a photo with Bettinger, even if you already submitted a photo.  You may like this professional photo better, it is FREE and you can use the photo you like best.
We want to have every senior pictured in the yearbook so PLEASE take advantage of this free opportunity

Current 11th & 12th graders that would like to take classes at Arapahoe Community College in the spring need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 1610. Please see your counselor with any questions before the meeting.
