Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their 2-1 win over Standley Lake last night.  Ruben Cervantes scored with just 2 minutes left to secure the win. The #7 ranked Lions take on D'Evelyn tomorrow night at 7"

 CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Greenhouse club today after school! If you’re interested in learning about plants and want to know more about gardening come join!! We will be taking the yearbook picture as well

FBLA members - we will NOT have a meeting on Thursday, October 5.  Please watch your REMIND texts for upcoming information and check the website.  Mark your calendar with WEDNESDAY, October 18 2:30 to 3:30 for stock market challenge training.

A reminder to our student-leaders who have been nominated to serve on our LHS Captain/President Council: We will be hosting our third Captain/President Council meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/4, at 7:20 am in the Health Room (1329-NEW LOCATION). A light breakfast will be served. See Mr. Amonson or Mr. Enzminger if you have questions

Denver has made Wednesday Oct. 4 a PURPLE WEDNESDAY, so the LHS Spirit Committee wants you to join in the spirit!!  Wear your Rockies shirt, hat, jacket whatever you have that says Rockies OR wear Purple to celebrate the Rockies going to the playoffs!!  Join in the community spirit!!

TSA is having a meeting on Thursday, October 5th downstairs in the tech lab. Come on down to sign up for events and learn about runoffs for the state conference. Make sure you've paid your dues. We hope to see you there!

FCCLA/Culinary Club will meet this Thursday, afterschool in room 1972.  If you signed up for supplies, please be sure to drop them off on Wednesday.

Do you like to dance, tell jokes, or perform other special talents? Auditions for our school talent show are right around the corner! Audition sign up sheets are located on the activities bulletin board in the Language Arts hall and right outside of the cafeteria. Auditions will take place on October 13th, 17th, and 18th from 2:30 to 4:30 in the theater. You must sign up for auditions no later than Thursday, October 12th! We are looking for a variety of acts this year, so show us your talent!


The Stride is on Sunday, October 29th. Can we win the $1,000 prize for the high school with the greatest participation again this year? See a member of the PE department for a form, or register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put Littleton in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!! Bring your friends and family and come and Stride with us!

Bettinger Photography will be here, on campus, to take FREE senior portraits of any student who did not submit a photo before the deadline.  Please come to the main lobby at your appointed time to get your picture taken or see Mrs. Fisher if you have a conflict.
In addition, ANY senior is welcome to take a photo with Bettinger, even if you already submitted a photo.  You may like this professional photo better, it is FREE and you can use the photo you like best.
We want to have every senior pictured in the yearbook so PLEASE take advantage of this free opportunity

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Seniors, Mr. Stedron will be offering his college essay writing workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 10th, during A Lunch - NOT today!  If you cannot attend during A lunch on the 10th, stop by Post Grad and pick up some very informative handouts.

STEM STUDENTS- Don't forget this Thursday is STEM GAMES. Grab your lunch and come to the Forum to have some fun, flex your STEM brain, and compete for prizes. See Mrs. Bartlett if you still want to sign up or have any questions.

Current 11th & 12th graders that would like to take classes at Arapahoe Community College in the spring need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Room 1610. Please see your counselor with any questions before the meeting.

Attention Juniors and Seniors. We'll have 12 colleges send their admissions reps this week. Today we'll host Syracuse, Arapahoe Community College, and Concordia - Irvine.  Check your Naviance account for more info.

The PSAT is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th at 7:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Bring $20 and register in the counseling office.
