STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their win over Kennedy 3-1
Root them on for Saturday’s game against Centaurus.
ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Reminder: If you are enrolled in an Advanced Placement course, the second payment of the AP exam fee is due today November 1st. If the fee has not been paid in full by December 15th, a $45 late fee will be charged. Payments can be made with the bookkeeper or through the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus.
The Swim Proficiency test at LHS will be Wednesday, November 8th at 2:30pm sharp! Sign-up in the Counseling Office, space is limited to the first 30 students.
CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting and cooking, right after school this Thursday. Please bring your ingredients by Wednesday.
POLITICAL Committee will meet after school on Thursday in from 2608 to discuss and research school and local issues such as graduation requirements and LPS proposed time changes.
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Come out and support the LHS football teams as they play their last games of the season against Coronado.VARSITY- Thursday, Nov.2nd, Senior Night recognition starts at 6:20pm and the game starts at 7pm at LHS Stadium
C-TEAM- Friday, Nov 3rd, 4pm at LHS lower field Thanks for all your support this season! Go Lions!!
Preseason Camp for girls basketball begins next Monday and continues through Thursday from 3:00-5:00 each day. Come sharpen your skills, get into basketball shape, and get ready for next week's tryouts and the season ahead! Tryouts for girls basketball take place next Friday and Saturday.

Online ticket sales are for reserved seats and cost $8
Tickets can also be purchased at lunches, after school, and at the door. Non-reserved tickets are $7.
