A huge, HUGE shout out to members of our Freshmen Student Council.  Last night they helped to provide a meal for families in need at the House of Hope in Englewood.  These students planned and prepared a meal for about 30 women and children, helped watch and entertain their children with crafts and games, and did an overall phenomenal job.  Those students are Makayla Franklin, Sarah Hamitouche, Elissa Volling, Amelia Sacco, Emma Haynes, Salem Scobee, Aidan Whitney, Ellie Fuchs, Hannah Sanders, Eliska Martinez, Grace Greenly, and Dalena Le. STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Congratulations and Recognition:

Congratulations to your Lions Track and Field team! This past Saturday, both the girls and boys squads beat rival Wheat Ridge High School during the LPS Spring Break Duals. Even though the team was only being scored against the Farmers, our runners, jumpers and throwers competed against bigger 5A schools in each event. Standout performances came from event champions, Marina Cannon in the girls pole vault and Kaysha Kacanda in the girls long jump. Brittany Line and Tatum Lyons went one-two in the girls shot put as well giving Littleton a near sweep of the podium.
On the boys side, Trevor Stutzman notched a season best 11’6” in the boys pole vault to finish in second place while Charlie Meserve ran a blistering 52-seconds and change in the boys 400 meter dash to also finish second overall.
The next meet for the Lions will be this Tuesday at the LPS Stadium. Come cheer your friends and classmates on to victory!

A huge congratulations to our speech and debate team as they competed at the state tournament Friday and Saturday.  Julia Valdez placed 7th in Program Oral Interp, and Senior Kelly Steinberg took 2nd place in Humor.  Excellent work!
