CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Our speech and debate team is decked out in red, white, and blue today as they prepare to kick off the second semester at the George Washington Patriot Games tomorrow. Please wish them luck!
Come on out to the first greenhouse club meeting of 2018! We are kicking off the new year with lots of planting! Bring your friends to the meeting next Tuesday, the 16th!!!

 GSA will resume meetings after school on Tuesday, January 16th, in room 1604.
Students and staff:  Bonfils Blood Center will be here on Thursday, January 25th, and Friday, January 26th from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.  If you have an off period and would like to potentially save 3 lives by donating blood, please contact Mr. Hahn in the counseling office.

The “Winter Dance” guest forms are available at Student Services and in the Main office. They are due back February 8, 2018.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Unified Basketball-There will be a short meeting for all partners today at 2:30 rm 1855

Boys Swimming is having a pre-season meeting on Thursday, January 18 at 5:00 pm in Room 1329 (Health Room). Parents & students who are interested should attend.
Registration for Spring Sports is now open. Please register through the LHS Athletic website. The first day of Spring Sports season is Monday, February 26.

LHS Boys Basketball wants you to FILL THE GYM on Jan. 19th for a special night of Lions basketball , the Denver Nuggets players and cheerleaders, plus a raffle with a chance to win a Maserati for a weekend!  Raffle tickets are being sold all this week and next by Boys Basketball players as well as Student Council members.  Each ticket is $20, and gives you a chance to win a Maserati for the weekend, or a basketball autographed by all the Nuggets players, a $100 steak dinner plus many more prizes to be announced!  SO, come on out next week to cheer on the LHS BOYS and maybe win some fun prizes!

What are YOU going to do after high school?!
Interested in four-year college? Two year college? A certificate? An apprenticeship? Join us Tuesday, January 23rd from 6:00-8:00pm for "Life After Littleton" Night here at school.  We have a lively and information-rich evening planned for you.  You can choose from among eight different breakout sessions on a variety of topics useful for planning your "Life After Littleton". Open to Sophomores, Junior and Seniors and their families.

LHS will host the "USA Gap Year Fair" on Sunday, January 28th in the Cafeteria and South Gym. This fair takes place in several cities across the U.S. each year, and Littleton is lucky to host it for the Denver area this year.  Speakers will present from 1-2pm and the fair, which will includes dozens of exhibitors, will take place from 2-4pm.  Register here   Event is FREE
