STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to the girl's basketball program, who swept Vista Peak last night.
Varsity was lead by Olivia Schroeder with 11 points, and Sarah Payson and Susie Puchino with 10 each.

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be in the Forum during A or B lunch on the following dates:
Current 8th graders for freshman year             February 5th  (during EHS lunch)
Current 9th graders for sophomore year          February 5th & 6th
Current 10th graders for junior year                 February 8th & 9th
Current 11th graders for senior year                February 12th & 13th

An admissions representative from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs will be here to meet with students on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 11:00 am in the Post Grad Center.  If you'd like to attend, sign up on your Naviance account and stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come to greenhouse club today, after school and see how your plants are growing!! Bring your friends!!

Come join GSA after school in the forum today for a showing of To Wong Foo!  Entry is free and we'll have some snacks available.

Technology Student Association has early submission, events are due Thurs. Feb. 1st.
Meeting on Thursday right after school in Tech Lab. See you there.

FCCLA/Culinary Club will be meeting this Thursday in room 1972. If you signed up to bring an ingredient, please remember to drop off your lab ingredient by Wednesday. Anyone is welcome to join Culinary Club.

If you are interested in joining newspaper or yearbook next year, apply now! Applications are available from Ms. Kron, Ms. Fisher or your language arts teacher. The deadline for the application is Friday, February 2.

Hey, do you like having fun and dancing in outer space? Then the Galaxy Glow in the Dark Winter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 10th from 8-11 is just for you! Come in a school appropriate costume, dressed to the theme, or dress nicely to have a great night with your friends! There will be great music, games, and prizes for the best dressed and game winners.  Tickets will be on sale during A and B lunches next week, and you can also buy tickets at the door. 
And in preparation for the dance and winter assembly, we will have spirit days all week next week.  Those days are:
Monday: Sci-fi day
Tuesday: Blackout day
Wednesday: Glitter/sparkle day
Thursday: Twin day
Friday: Class shirts"

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come support our unified lion's basketball team tonight 7pm at Arapahoe.

All girls interested in playing golf for LHS this spring need to attend a brief information meeting on Thursday, February 1st in room 2603 at 2:30.
