ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Admissions representatives from the following colleges will be visiting LHS to speak with students this week! Today - University of Northern Colorado; Friday - CU Denver.  Please sign up on your Naviance account, and stop by Post Grad for a pass.

Attention first generation students!  The application for the Merkle Scholarship is now open.  Awards between $2,000 and $10,000 will be made to two first generation students from LHS.  Last year we had very few applicants, so your odds may be very good.  Please stop by Post Grad for all of the details.

Sources of Strength permission forms are due this Friday. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

POLITICAL COMMITTEE will meet after school on today in room 2608.

LHS Lion Ultimate needs girls! Come to art room 1215 today after school to "Get to Know Girls' Ultimate". Wear comfortable clothing as we will stretch and throw as well as drink tea and chat. First practice for girls and boys is on February 20!

Key Club will meet today in room 2620 at 2.25.  Come learn about our Kits for Kids project providing medical supplies for families in developing countries.  All are welcome!

The  Winter Dance is this Saturday, from 8-11pm, and you can buy tickets in the cafeteria all week long during A and B lunches.  Tickets are $8.00.  Guest forms for the dance are due on Wednesday. And all week long we are celebrating with spirit days in preparation for the dance and pep assembly. Today is twin day, and of course Friday wear your class shirt for the assembly.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention Track and Field Athletes, Please plan on attending a brief, but important, pre-season meeting today, Feb 8th from 2:30-3p. in the forum. Please see Coach Koepke with questions!  Track On!

Winter sports pep rally is Tomorrow!! Wear your class t shirt and get ready to see some amazing Hair Band performances. Go lions!!

The Spirit Committee wants you to come out and support Girls Basketball on Friday, Feb. 9th when it is CLUB APPRECIATION NIGHT!! 


Girl's Tennis Meeting today, February 8, at 2:30 in Room 1971. Please come if you are interested in joining the team!

There has been a change to the LHS Varsity Boys Basketball game from Saturday Feb 10th at 1:00 pm to Saturday Feb 10th at 2:30pm.  Come and support the team at their last home game of the season this Saturday at 2:30.  We will be celebrating our six graduating seniors at half time.  So everyone come out for one more chance to cheer for our Boys Basketball teams.


BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please don’t miss this month’s PTO Meeting  - Friday morning at 9:00 am in the main office conference room. We’d love to have you! This is a great way to connect with the school and other parents.

Senior Yearbook Dedication Ads are due Monday, February 12.  See the LHS website to purchase and design your ad.

Littleton High School Performing Arts is proud to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Performances are March 1st-3rd in the Littleton Main Stage Theatre. Thursday & Friday shows are at 7pm and Saturday will have two shows at 1pm & 6pm. Tickets are general admission and are $12 adults/$8 for students. They can be purchased online at lhsperformingarts.net. Get your tickets early as this show is sure to sell out!

Your Littleton DECA students want to remind you that if you are looking to be a part of DECA next year, your first step is to sign up for Marketing 1 class as you fill out your electives portion of registration this week.  This is the required course for participation in DECA.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Decker in room 1977, or talk to any DECA member.

It's February and that means Val-O-Grams!!  Find a Student Council member and send a gram to a friend, or a someone you have a crush on or to your special squeeze!  They are only $1 and include a flower with your Gram, to be delivered on Valentine's Day Wed. Feb. 14th!  All proceeds go towards our LHS PROM! 

Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be in the Forum during A or B lunch on the following dates:
