Please sign up using the SignUp Genius links you received in Seminar, or stop by the Post Grad Center, and we can sign you up.

Stem Students: Our next STEM lunch will be next Tuesday, 3/20. We will hear from a former LHS student who now works on rockets for the United Launch Alliance. Please RSVP by tomorrow so we have a food headcount. If you have any questions see Mrs. Bartlett.

We have a spirit day this Friday 16th...it is the First Annual Wearin O the Green!  Wear tons and tons of green or dress as a leprechaun on that day and you could win a fun prize!  Stop by the library or the cafe during the day to get your picture taken!

Monday, March 19th, Student Council has an important guest speaker coming to talk to us about the March for our Lives-Colorado event taking place on March 24th.  His name is Tey Andersson and he is the HEAD of the March for our Lives-Colorado chapter.  This is the organization that was started by the Parkland students and has gone Nation-wide.  Tey is a very recent graduate (last year) of East High School and serves on the Denver School Board as well as 2 Colorado Congressional Committees.  He has been an amazing voice for getting students involved in their district and states youth issues.  We will be meeting in the forum starting at 2:30 on Monday--see you there and bring a friend!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The PTO invites all families to join us for our monthly PTO meetings. March meeting will be this Friday, March 16, at 9 am in the main conference room. Hope to see you there.

LHS will host our second annual "Trade & Tech Fair"  next Tuesday, March 20th between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm in the North Gym.  If you're beginning to plan for your life after high school, and want to find out more about alternatives to going to college, stop by during your lunch period or an OFF period. You'll have the chance to get information and speak with representatives from a wide variety of non-college options.
