STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:
Congrats to your Lions Unified Basketball team for finishing out the season 3-0 at the March Madness tournament. Scott Bourg, Mary Martinez, Sammie Ostlee, Zakrie Phounesavath, Xavier Renshaw, Ruben Valdivia, Alex Vizurraga, Max Warren and Alberto Zarate Carreno all dominated the stat sheets and represented our school with pride! A special shoutout to Patrick McFarland for winning the tournament's sportsmanship award. Unified helpers: The end of the season celebration is this Thursday, March 8. Please RSVP to Ms. Encinias by Wednesday.
ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:
REMINDER: If you are interested in the military, the last day to sign up for the ASVAB is Thursday, March 8th. Please visit the Counseling Office to register.
CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
GSA will meet today after school in room 1604. We will be having our yearbook photo taken so please be prompt.
Come to greenhouse club today after school for a yummy and healthy treat that we will be making from the things we have grown!!
Key Club will meet this Thursday in room 2620 at 2.20 p.m. We will be learning about the Thirsty Thirty challenge to provide clean drinking water for developing countries. All are welcome!
SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Attention all girls basketball players. Uniform check in will take place this Thursday right after school in the North Gym. Please bring all of your uniforms to check in. We will make this a quick process. Thanks.
