STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Hey! Guess who beat Valor yesterday? The JV girls soccer team. Jenna Silverman, Hanna Salz, Grace Kelly and Elise Boroom all scored in the win.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

GSA will be meeting after school today in room 1604.

Watch out for the Sources of Strength Scavenger Hunt coming this Wednesday!  Your chance to win a valuable prize and learn more about Sources of Strength.  More information to come on Wednesday, during Seminar.  Brought to you by the Sources of Strength Positive Messaging group!

TSA will be having a general meeting this Thursday in the tech lab. We are looking for next year's officers, if you are interested please come Thursday. Also, if you qualified for Nationals, you must turn in your deposit to Mrs. Wilkins, or let her know that you will not be attending nationals as soon as possible. See a TSA advisor or officer if you have any questions.

Join FCCLA/Culinary Club this Thursday, in room 1972.  We will be making a layered chocolate peanut butter bar. Those who signed up for ingredients need to drop them off by Wednesday.

Are you a leader?  Do you want to be a leader?  If you answered YES to either of those questions, then you need to join Student Council!!  Election information packets are now available in the main office or up in room 2610 with Ms. Prestel.  Student Council is one of the largest and busiest clubs in the school and we are always looking for energetic and creative students to become our officers! Speeches are due April 30 and elections are May 2!  Come on and get involved in your LHS community!!

Auditions for the 2018-19 Select choirs begin this week.  Information and sign up sheets are located on the bulletin board just outside the choir room.  See Mr. Farrell or talk to a current choir student if you have questions.

The Swim Waiver test will be Wednesday, April 11th at 8:30 a.m. sharp! Sign-up in the Counseling Office, space is limited to the first 30 students.

Seniors, you get a free t-shirt at the end of your year and we want YOU to design it!!  Usually, this shirt has the school colors somehow incorporated as well as your grad year and the senior motto, which is: To Infinity and Beyond!  If you would like to design this shirt, talk to Reganne Fornstrom or Ms. Prestel.  The Due date is April 12th!

Prom and After Prom Guest forms are available at student services, and the main office. They are due back Thursday, April 26th, 2018.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Boys basketball open gym begins this week. Mondays and Thursdays from 5-7 pm. All are welcome.

Attention Volleyballers: There will be a short informational meeting regarding summer volleyball opportunities today, April 3 at 2:30 in the North Gym. Open gym will still be held after the meeting."

Wondering if cheerleading or poms is for you?
LHS is excited to host a FREE cheer & pom clinic on Tuesday, April 10th from 3-5 p.m. in the cafeteria.The clinic will focus on the fundamental elements of cheerleading and pom, so if you've never done this before, or simply want to perfect your skills, this is a perfect opportunity for you.
We're bringing in some of the best spirit coaches in the state of Colorado to help with this event and you're not going to want to miss out!
