STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

The LHS Boys Lacrosse team won a big game last night against previously undefeated and #2 ranked Evergreen by a score of 8-7 in OT. The Lions came back from a 3 goal deficit with 7 minutes remaining to tie it up in regulation. In the OT period, Littleton got the game-winner from senior midfielder Duke Hindman. The LHS defense once again stood strong only letting up 7 goals. Patrick Little in net was great as were Luke Beauman, Ossie Froelich, Joe Girkin and Alden Kramer at the midfield defense.
The Lions have a home game on Thursday 4/12 against Battle Mountain HS at 5:30. Come out and cheer on the boys!

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Seniors, if you signed up to audition for giving a Graduation Speech, do NOT forget those dates are Tuesday, April 17th and, Wed. April 18th. You MUST have a full speech prepared, not just bullet points and please practice before you go to your audition. Auditions will be in room 1326. Thanks!

Attention Seniors! Many of you have been receiving the results of your college applications.  Please help us keep our records current by updating your Naviance account with these results. Simply go into Naviance under  "College I'm Applying To", and click the "Results" link.  This is important and will help us to send your final transcript to the college you will attend. If you have questions, please stop by Post Grad for answers!

College Connect provides low-income or first-generation students in the Denver Metro area with the opportunity to interact with Admissions representatives from 4-year colleges that have made a commitment to meet the financial needs of a diverse student body. In addition to a college fair, these colleges will provide educational workshops and presentations for students' parents and guardians about financial aid.
The fair is this Saturday, April 14, from 1:15 - 4:00 pm at Denver Montessori Jr/Sr High School.  Please stop by Post Grad for more information and to register.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Auditions for the 2018-19 select choirs are still taking place this week.  Sign up on the Choir bulletin board outside the choir room or talk to Mr. Farrell.

Attention Seniors!  Get your picture on the bulletin board!  Stop by the Post Grad Center and let us know about your plans for after high school:  the college you've decided on, the trade or technical school you've chosen, the gap year you'll be taking, the apprenticeship you have lined up, the branch of the military you're entering, or whatever!  We'll put you on the map! AND the first 20 Seniors who add themselves to our list will receive a prize!

Seniors, we will be creating an end of year slideshow and want to make sure we have pictures of everyone. If you have any pictures you would like to add, please upload them onto the senior Google Classroom page by May 11th! Email Ms. Prestel with any questions or concerns."  The code to join the "Seniors" classroom is kjxg3qd."

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please join us for our monthly PTO meeting this Friday at 9am in the theater lobby. Hope to see you there.

Seniors, you get a free t-shirt at the end of your year and we want YOU to design it!!  Usually, this shirt has the school colors somehow incorporated as well as your grad year and the senior motto, which is: To Infinity and Beyond!  If you would like to design this shirt, talk to Reganne Fornstrom or Ms Prestel.  The Due date is April 12th!

Prom and After Prom Guest forms are available at student services, and the main office. They are due back Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
