STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

I want to give a HUGE LHS CONGRATULATIONS to Jill Fitzpatrick for the fantastic job she did organizing and putting on our very first Unified Track Meet! Yesterday, Unified Athletes from Littleton, Heritage, and Arapahoe competed in the 50M, 100M, Long Jump, Softball Throw, and 2 relay events. I loved the spirit of camaraderie and competition among our athletes.  It was a wonderful, positive event for our community!
A big thank you also goes out to Deanna Encinas, Heather Stukey, Chad Koepke, and all of our student coaches & volunteers for helping Jill's vision for this event come to fruition.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Baseball Summer Information Meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday, May 1 at 6:00 pm in the Forum.

What if there was a sport where you weren't restricted by the size of the playing field? How about a fun, healthy sport requiring very little special equipment? What about one that encourages you to run across grassy fields, along trail and at times, through water? Come see how cool Cross Country can be during our informational pre-season meeting on Monday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. Students and their parents are invited to meet the coaches, learn about summer running, get information about our summer running camp and hear about the season. Athletes of all abilities are welcome and little or no running experience is required for this no-cut sport. Hope to see you there!
