STUDENT BULLETIN:

Have you heard about the Offline October Challenge? Offline October is a challenge for people to give up social media for the month of October to support teen suicide prevention. After the Littleton, Colorado, community experienced a number of teen suicides, a group of 25 students got together to come up with a solution after declaring that enough was enough. The big 3 goals for going Offline are: an increase in suicide awareness and prevention; more face-to-face conversations; and involvement in more community events. Started right here in Littleton, there are currently students from 18 states and 5 countries that have taken this year’s pledge. We encourage you to talk to your friends, go on the national website OFFLINEOCTOBER.COM, and make your pledge to support this movement. Please see Ms. Adams-Berger or Ms. Smith in the main office with any questions.

Attention, Juniors and Seniors: Admissions reps from Colorado Mesa, Eastern University, Seattle Pacific and Creighton will be here today to meet with students. Humboldt State, Monmouth College, Southeastern University and Syracuse University will visit us tomorrow. Please sign up to attend on your Naviance account. And stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

Attention, Seniors: If you need to write an essay or personal statement for your college or scholarship applications, be sure to attend the Essay Writing workshop on Tuesday, October 2nd, during both lunch periods in The Forum.
