STUDENT BULLETIN:

Congratulations again to all the students and staff who participated in the Littleton Stride on Sunday. Because of your efforts, we had the greatest high school participation, and we received $1,000 for our school from the Littleton Foundation. Go, Lions!

Students, again, the purple fire doors around the building will be locked at 4:00 pm daily for security reasons. The only way to get to the gyms after 4:00 pm will be to go around to the Athletics Entrance. Halls and classrooms past the main lobby will be inaccessible. Thank you for your understanding!

If you're a college-bound senior, listen up! Early Application deadlines are fast-approaching! Now is the time to double check your deadlines and to be sure you're requesting transcripts and teacher letters of recommendation if your schools require them. Read the detailed instructions on the landing page of your Naviance account so that you do this correctly. If you have questions, stop by Post Grad.

Today is the Pumpkin Carving Contest after school in the cafeteria! It's free, and you may win a prize for the best design! Tomorrow is Halloween, and we are having a Costume Contest! The categories are Scariest, Best Group Halloween Costume, and Most Creative. Stop by the cafeteria to get your picture taken for a chance to win! When planning your costume though, please remember that costumes need to be in keeping with school dress code requirements. For safety reasons, masks and full make-up are not allowed because they prevent us from seeing you!

Littleton High School Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team has received two awards from United Soccer Coaches (formerly the NSCAA) for the 2017-2018 academic year. The Team Academic Award is awarded to teams with a composite grade point average of at least 3.25. Littleton is one of only seven schools in Colorado to receive this honor. Their combined GPA was 4.16!

This is the 20th straight year that the Littleton High School Girls’ Soccer program has received this award — a streak that leads the nation and which started before any of the Lions’ current players were born!

The second award is the “Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award” which recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior, and adherence to the laws of the game. Littleton received the Gold Award. Congratulations, Lions!
