STUDENT BULLETIN

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

The girl's ultimate frisbee team won both of their games this week. On Tuesday they beat D'Evelyn 10-3. In a scrimmage Thursday against Arapahoe, the final score was 9-7 after a fun and challenging game. Wish the girls luck in their tournament this weekend on Sunday at LHS.

A gigantic and overdue congratulations go out to members of our speech and debate team who competed last weekend at their National Qualifying Tournament at Cherry Creek High School.  The Lions were led by Ben Greenly and Grace Greenly, who qualified for nationals in Duo Interpretation and will represent LHS this summer in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.  Great job, guys.  Rebecca Zickerman is 2nd alternate to nationals in Original Oratory, and Jack Rogers and Ally Procopio were semi-finalists in their events. And a reminder to all members of the speech and debate team, we have a mandatory team meeting today in the speech room after school."

A big thank you to all the Key Club kids, NHS kids, IB kids and staff who helped make cards and donated gifts for the Mothers Day baskets project!  Key Club will be taking 100 gifts and cards over to IFCS this afternoon, which is exactly what we'd hoped for.
Thank you, Lions!
