STUDENT BULLETIN
Attention Seniors! The highly competitive and prestigious Boettcher Scholarship has opened it's online application. Winners of this scholarship are offered a full-ride, tuition, and fees plus room and board for all four years at any Colorado college or university. All eligible students who believe they are a strong candidate should search Boettcher Scholarship online and find out more. The deadline is November 1st, but don't delay, the application is lengthy.

Also,Seniors! Just a quick reminder that all senior photos from outside photographers are due tomorrow, September 13th. Those photos should be emailed to Mrs. Fisher. If you do not submit a photo by tomorrow, please plan to be photographed by our professional photographer on Thursday, October 10th.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
All students interested in competing for the LHS Speech and Debate team this year, we are holding an informational meeting today, at 6:15 pm in the forum. Please attend with a parent. We are excited to go over the season ahead and introduce you to our new assistant coaches. Please see coach Saliman if you have any questions.

Sources of Strength will meet today, September 12th after school in Room 1219. We want to make sure all Freshman and Early High School students that went to a Sources of Strength training in Middle School are welcome.

Attention 9th grade STEM students. Your ice cream kick-off will be TODAY during A and B lunch in the forum. Stop by, get some ice cream, and learn more about the STEM program. See Mrs. Bartlett-Mogg with any questions.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Congratulations to the Level 3 Boys soccer team on their tough-fought win over Thunder Ridge High School yesterday. It was an action-packed 4-2 win. Johan Zamora scored a hat trick in the first half, and Elan Brown sealed the win with his goal in the second. Fantastic Soccer Boys!

Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their races at the Elizabeth Invitational! The boy's varsity finished 5th with Grady Redding, Evan Moore and Cooper Brown leading the way. Donny Marshall, Blake Anderson, Sawyer Gannon, and Hans Romine also ran well. In the Open race, Dan Lamey was 3rd overall, and Liam Brack was 14th pacing the Lions to a 3rd place finish!

Girls cross country varsity led by Scarlett Montoya, Morgan Kelly and McAllister Stewart took 6th place. Hailey Lockhart, Sophia Sheldon, Catherine May, and Rylee Berger rounded out the varsity squad. Georgia Reed, Kenzie Pullar, and Lane Greenly were the top three in the Girls Open race where the Lions finished 3rd in the team competition.

Come Support your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team this Saturday as they host their 1st Home Meet in several years at Active Athletics! Competition starts at 3:30 pm against Cherry Creek & Rock Canyon!

Students!! If you are interested in signing up for after school Homecoming events, please check the Class Bulletin Boards in the Language Arts Hallway. You will find Girls' Powder Puff, Dodgeball and Boys' Volleyball. These events are held after school next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. All events are free, and everyone is welcome to attend!

Attention Volleyball Fans! At tonight's volleyball game against Conifer, we will be raffling off a Starbucks gift card between games 2 and 3. Raffle tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. If you dress up in tonight's theme, Hippie day, you get a free raffle ticket. Come support our lady lions volleyball team!!!
