STUDENT BULLETIN
Students, a reminder to renew account on the school website, lunch renewal will expire tomorrow. See Ms. Brenda Pullis in the cafeteria if you have any questions.

Attention Juniors and Seniors - Next week is College Week at LHS. We have over 55 Colleges and Universities visiting our school. Junior and Seniors are encouraged to register through Naviance to meet with the visiting admission representatives. A printed list of visiting schools is posted in the Senior hallway and on an announcement board by the Counseling office.

In conjunction with College Week, there will be an Out-Of-State College Night hosted at Lakewood High School on Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30-8:00 PM and there is an In-State and Out-Of-State College Fair and Workshop hosted at Mountain Vista High School in Highland Ranch on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Speech and debate team, we have tryouts tomorrow, September 27th in the forum. All new members of the team will try out, and all returning members will be there to meet, greet, and support you! If you have any questions, please see coach Saliman.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The winning continues! Congratulations to the Level 3 Boys soccer team for their sixth win in a row beating Rock Canyon 2-1. Goals were scored by Skye Fanch and Sawyer Gannon in a great team effort!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Once again, the online application for the highly competitive and prestigious Boettcher Scholarship is now open, with an 11:59 pm November 1st deadline. If you're interested in finding out more, go to BoettcherFoundationOnline.org. Please read the information at that link very carefully. There is an abundance of information about the steps required as well as tips on how to make your application stronger. The application process is somewhat lengthy, and the requirements are quite specific. Don't delay in beginning the process. Please stop by Post Grad and speak to Ms. Reimers if you have questions. Also, please email Ms. Reimers if you plan to apply for the Boettcher.

Juniors and Seniors – College Admission Representatives from the following schools will be at LHS this week: CU-Boulder, Arizona State, Univ. of Arizona, Univ. of Tennessee, Univ. of CA-Santa Cruz, CU-Denver, Hawaii Pacific University, and Colorado State University. Please log onto you Naviance accounts. Go to the “What’s New” section on the home page and click on the specific school you would like to meet with. You may get a pass to be excused from class from Counseling or Post Grad.
