Attention Juniors and Sophomores: The PSAT test date is this Wednesday, October 16th at 8:00 am. in the South Gym. Registration is now closed.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Attention Student Council members, there is a General Council meeting tomorrow morning in the forum at 7:45 am.

Congratulations to your "Pride of Littleton" Marching Band on their strong showing and performances this past weekend at the "Big Cat" Marching Band Competition. The Band earned their highest score of the season and placed 9th Overall out of 21 competing Bands. Best of luck this afternoon as the Band competes in their State Regional Qualifying Competition. Go, Band!!

Did you know that just one blood donation can save up to 3 lives? Our LHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive on two upcoming dates here in the Forum on Thursday, October 24th, and Friday, November 8th. Anyone ages 16 or over can donate. For more information or to sign up for a time slot: see Ms. Adams-Berger or Mr. Puchino in the Counseling office. This is an amazing way to give back to those in need.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Come celebrate Senior Night and cheer on your Boys Soccer teams tonight at the LPS Stadium as they take on Golden! JV will play at 4:30 pm, and then Varsity will honor our Seniors starting at 6:30 pm before their 7:00 pm kick-off. Go Lions!!

Congratulations to the LHS boys cross country team! Our boys varsity finished second place at the League Championship Cross Country Meet in Arvada. Just five points separated us from Evergreen in a tightly contested race where your Lions also bested cross-town rivals Green Mountain and Golden. Evan Moore was First Team All Conference while Cooper Brown, Uziel Garcia, Donny Marshall and Grady Redding were Second Team All Conference. Blake Anderson and Hans Romine rounded out the boys varsity. Our boys open crew won the JV Championship race with Sawyer Gannon, Tate Redding, Dan Lamey, Liam Brack, Sam Jones and Andrew Kallas all finishing in the top 20. Nicely done, guys!

Way to go, Lady Lions harriers! Our girls varsity finished sixth at the Jeffco League Championship Cross Country Meet this past week. Just five points separated us from the team in fifth – an amazing effort for this young crew! Hailey Lockhart came in first for the Lions, with Kenzie Pullar, McAllister Stewart, Sydney Sheldon, Rylee Berger, Georgia Reed and Sophia Sheldon rounding out the girls varsity. In the JV Championship race, the Lions were sixth with Morgan Kelly, Olivia Landers and Scarlett Montoya finishing in the top 20. Next up for the team is the Regional Meet in Colorado Springs this Thursday. Let’s go, Lions!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Once again, the online application for the highly competitive and prestigious Boettcher Scholarship is now open, with an 11:59 pm November 1st deadline. If you're interested in finding out more, go to BoettcherFoundationOnline.org. Please read the information at that link very carefully. There is an abundance of information about the steps required as well as tips on how to make your application stronger. The application process is somewhat lengthy, and the requirements are quite specific. Don't delay in beginning the process. Please stop by Post Grad and speak to Ms. Reimers if you have questions. Also, please email Ms. Reimers if you plan to apply for the Boettcher.
