STUDENT BULLETIN
Mickey Wentz, a math teacher at LHS, will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance today. Mr. Wentz served in the United States Coast Guard for eight years as a Rescue Survival Swimmer and a Maritime Law Enforcement Member. He was stationed in San Francisco and Seattle. Mr. Wentz, we thank you for your service.

Students interested in Concurrent Enrollment classes at ACC for 2nd semester, please have your online application and paperwork completed and turned in to Mr. Puchino by Friday, November 15th.

Reminder: Swim test tomorrow, November 13th. If you are signed up, please be there at 3:45 pm SHARP with your photo ID.

Hello, Juniors and Seniors - College visits are still happening! Johnson & Wales University will be here on Thursday, November 14th, at 12:30 pm and CSU will be here on Tuesday, November 21st, at 11:45 am. Sign-up in Naviance to meet with these admission representatives. Please come to Counseling if you need a pass to be excused from class.

Seniors, this is a final reminder - if you have December 1st college application deadlines, you need to request your transcripts in Naviance and bring money to the Registrar in the Counseling office by Friday, November 15th. Transcripts will not be sent the last week of November because of the Thanksgiving break. Plan accordingly.

The Social Worlds & Youth Wellbeing Study is looking for kids ages 13 and older to participate in interviews about how youth’s social worlds – in real life and online – shape their wellbeing, stress, and resilience. CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Every day this week, we will be selling tickets to Lion's Follies. They're only $6, and you can buy them during A and B lunch in the main lobby or at the attendance office all day. Or, you can purchase them online. Come and see some great talent!

The C4L club is meeting today, November 12th, in room 2610, right after school. We are going to come up with a Caring event --remember, it's one of our 4 C's! Everyone is invited to attend.

Sources of Strength is focusing on Gratitude and Generosity this month. We invite all LHS students to join us for a plate of pancakes before school tomorrow, Nov 13th, in the cafeteria. Join us in practicing generosity by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to a local food bank.

It's time for some Winter School Spirit!! Join the C4L Club in some LHS Community fun by wearing a Crazy or Fun Winter Hat on Friday, November 15th!! Community is another of our 4C's! Email your picture to Ms. Prestel, and the C4L Club will pick a winner, who will get a $20 King Soopers card!!

Attention students! Are you interested in filmmaking? Costumes? Directing? Then come to the first meeting of the Film Club! We will be meeting on Thursday, November 14th, at 8:00 am in Ms. Fritz' room (1749). If you want to act in a movie, want to learn more about the filming process, or if you are already advanced, all are welcome!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Any students interested in wrestling this winter need to attend weight certifications this tomorrow, November 13th, at 4:00 PM in the Wrestling Room. The first practice is Monday, November 18th, at 4:00 PM in the Wrestling Room.

Preseason Camp for Girls Basketball continues today from 4:00-5:30 pm in the North gym through Thursday. Come work on your skills and get ready for next week's tryouts! All players considering trying out next Monday and Tuesday are strongly encouraged to attend this week!

All hockey players who are interested in trying out for the LPS CHSAA Ice Hockey team, it is time to register! The LPS hockey program is a combined team with players from Arapahoe, Heritage, Littleton, and Options. Please go to the heritageeagleshockey.com website for registration details. Tryouts will be held on Monday, November 18th, and Tuesday, November 19th, from 4:00-5:00 pm at South Suburban Ice Rink.
