STUDENT BULLETIN
Attention Seniors! The highly competitive and prestigious Boettcher Scholarship has opened it's online application. Winners of this scholarship are offered a full-ride, tuition, and fees plus room and board for all four years at any Colorado college or university. All eligible students who believe they are a strong candidate should search Boettcher Scholarship online and find out more. The deadline is November 1st, but don't delay, the application is lengthy.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to your Girls Gymnastics Team for placing 2nd on this past Wednesday's meet at Overland! Way to go, Girls!

The ultimate frisbee team lost their first game of the season to CIVA, 9-11. The game was very spirited and a fun game to start the season — shoutout to all of the new players for coming to their first game and putting in awesome effort.

Students!! If you are interested in signing up for after school Homecoming events, please check the Class Bulletin Boards in the Language Arts Hallway. You will find Girls' Powder Puff, Dodgeball and Boys' Volleyball. These events are held after school next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. All events are free, and everyone is welcome to attend!

Also,Seniors! Just a quick reminder that all senior photos from outside photographers are due tomorrow, September 13th. Those photos should be emailed to Mrs. Fisher. If you do not submit a photo by tomorrow, please plan to be photographed by our professional photographer on Thursday, October 10th.

All students interested in competing for the LHS Speech and Debate team this year, we are holding an informational meeting today, at 6:15 pm in the forum. Please attend with a parent. We are excited to go over the season ahead and introduce you to our new assistant coaches. Please see coach Saliman if you have any questions.

Sources of Strength will meet today, September 12th after school in Room 1219. We want to make sure all Freshman and Early High School students that went to a Sources of Strength training in Middle School are welcome.

Attention 9th grade STEM students. Your ice cream kick-off will be TODAY during A and B lunch in the forum. Stop by, get some ice cream, and learn more about the STEM program. See Mrs. Bartlett-Mogg with any questions.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Congratulations to the Level 3 Boys soccer team on their tough-fought win over Thunder Ridge High School yesterday. It was an action-packed 4-2 win. Johan Zamora scored a hat trick in the first half, and Elan Brown sealed the win with his goal in the second. Fantastic Soccer Boys!

Congratulations to the boys cross country team on their races at the Elizabeth Invitational! The boy's varsity finished 5th with Grady Redding, Evan Moore and Cooper Brown leading the way. Donny Marshall, Blake Anderson, Sawyer Gannon, and Hans Romine also ran well. In the Open race, Dan Lamey was 3rd overall, and Liam Brack was 14th pacing the Lions to a 3rd place finish!

Girls cross country varsity led by Scarlett Montoya, Morgan Kelly and McAllister Stewart took 6th place. Hailey Lockhart, Sophia Sheldon, Catherine May, and Rylee Berger rounded out the varsity squad. Georgia Reed, Kenzie Pullar, and Lane Greenly were the top three in the Girls Open race where the Lions finished 3rd in the team competition.

Come Support your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team this Saturday as they host their 1st Home Meet in several years at Active Athletics! Competition starts at 3:30 pm against Cherry Creek & Rock Canyon!

Tonight! One Night Only! The Annual LHS Performing Arts Department Collage Concert, featuring groups and ensembles representing Instrumental Music, Choral Music, and Theater. The concert begins at 6:40 pm in front of the school with an outdoor performance by the LHS "Pride of Littleton" Marching Band followed by other groups performing on stage in the Theater. The concert is Free! Come and enjoy!!

The Model United Nations Club will meet in Room 2609 today, September 11th, at 3:30 pm.

Key Club will meet in room 2620 tomorrow, September 12th, at 7.50 am. We will be planning our booth for the homecoming carnival. All are welcome!

The first home volleyball game is tomorrow. Level 4 and Level 3 play at 4:30 pm, JV plays at 5:30 pm and your Varsity plays at 6:30 pm. Students who come dressed in tye-dye or a hippie theme will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift card during the Varsity game. Must be present to win. Hope to see you for some great volleyball tomorrow night. Go Lions!

Good luck to your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team as they head to Overland High School this evening for some tough competition! The Meet starts at 6 pm.

Open gyms for girls basketball continue tonight from 7:00-8:30 pm and will then be held every Tuesday night until the season begins in mid-November. If you are considering playing basketball this year, open gyms are a great way to work on your skills, meet other players, and get ready for the season. Hope to see you there!

The boy's tennis team continued their inspiring run of undefeated matches yesterday, beating Conifer High School 7-0.

Congratulations to Boys Level 3 Soccer winning 6-0 against Highlands Ranch. A great team effort - Max Pits held the clean sheet, with goals scored by Johan Zamora, Sawyer Gannon, Colin Wilburn, Luis Banuelos, and Luis Lopez.

Ever wanted to be a part of the Littleton Spirit? Now you can! Thursday, September 12th we will be having auditions for the mascot lion Rory!! Please come to the cafeteria by 4 pm to audition. We can’t wait to see you there and on the field.

We will complete a Fire Drill tomorrow, September 10th at 2:05 pm. This drill was originally scheduled for August 28th, but we pushed it back following the lockdown drill.

Attention Students: Have you purchased your parking pass? Campus supervisors will be in the parking lots this week. If you have not purchased a pass, you will be ticketed. Please see the bookkeeper to purchase your pass.

Sam Adams Berger won the Rockies tickets for dressing up last Friday.

Your boys cross country team mastered a new course at the Gator Invitational with Evan Moore, Grady Redding, and Cooper Brown demonstrating excellent pack running. Senior Donny Marshall wasn’t far behind followed by Sawyer Gannon, Hans Romine, Sam Jones, Dan Lamey, Liam Brack, and Cameron Graham. Blake Anderson was 5th overall in the Boys Open race. Next up, the Elizabeth High School Invitational tomorrow!

Nice work at the Gator Invitational, Lady Lions harriers! This young squad raced with heart led by sophomore Grace Valentine. Freshmen Scarlett Montoya and Sydney Sheldon along with sophomore Morgan Kelly formed a tight pack behind her. Fearsome freshmen McAllister Stewart, Sophia Sheldon, Rylee Berger, and Catherine May together with sophomore Lane Greenly, rounded out the Girls Varsity for the Lions. Olivia Landers, Kenzie Pullar, and Coletta Schiller raced one, two, three for the Lions in the Girls Open. On to the Elizabeth Invitational tomorrow!

Your Lions Volleyball team had an amazing weekend in Glenwood Springs. They came away from the Tournament top 6 and fought hard to end the tournament with two important wins!! Come to the gym Thursday for their first home game against Conifer. Go Lions!!
