STUDENT BULLETIN
Attention Juniors and Seniors - Next week is College Week at LHS. We have over 55 Colleges and Universities visiting our school. Junior and Seniors are encouraged to register through Naviance to meet with the visiting admission representatives. A printed list of visiting schools is posted in the Senior hallway and on an announcement board by the Counseling office.

In conjunction with College Week, there will be an Out-Of-State College Night hosted at Lakewood High School on Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30-8:00 PM and there is an In-State and Out-Of-State College Fair and Workshop hosted at Mountain Vista High School in Highland Ranch on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Jazz in the Lobby is happening today right after school in the main front lobby. Come enjoy the music and bring your dancing shoes!

Attention Student Council Exec Board members, there is an Exec Board meeting this Monday at 7:45 am in room 2619. Please plan to attend.

Also, there is a General Student Council Meeting on Tuesday at 7:45 am in the Forum. All Student Council members should plan to attend.

Attention all artists: Participate in the Memory Project to help break barriers and unite youth from different cultures by creating a heartfelt keepsake portrait of a child from Pakistan. See your art teacher or Ms Jeannelle in room 1218 for more information!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Did you attend Field Elementary? Are you a Varsity Athlete? If so, Field Elementary is putting together a community bulletin board. Please help inspire our future Lions! Send us a picture in your LHS athletic gear along with your first & last name, your sport & position, and any information you would like to share about your experience as a LHS athlete. The winning continues! Congratulations to the Level 3 Boys soccer team for their sixth win in a row beating Rock Canyon 2-1. Goals were scored by Skye Fanch and Sawyer Gannon in a great team effort!

Key Club will meet at 7:50 am tomorrow in room 2620. Please bring an old, large T-shirt you can cut up as we will be making dog toys for the Dumb Friends League. Also please bring your membership paperwork and money if you have not already done so and your permission slips for Colorado Feeding Kids if you would like to participate in this event.

Congratulations to the Boy Cross Country team on their great performance at the Littleton Lions Cross Country Invitational! The varsity boys were second with Evan Moore, Grady Redding, Cooper Brown, Donny Marshall, Blake Anderson, Sam Jones, and Chris Jonsen. The open boys were first led by Uziel Garcia, who won the race handily. Hans Romine, Dan Lamey, Sawyer Gannon, and Tate Redding also scored for the Lions. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the team!

Way to go Girls Cross Country! Your varsity Lady Lion harriers finished second in the Littleton Lions Cross Country Invitational. Sydney Sheldon, Morgan Kelly, Rylee Berger, McAllister Stewart, Scarlett Montoya, and Sophia Sheldon gave it their all on a fast course in deKoevend park. The open girls were first achieving a perfect score of 15. Hailey Lockhart won the race, Georgia Reed was second, Kenzie Pullar was third, Catherine May was fourth, and Olivia Landers was fifth. What an amazing accomplishment! And thanks to the LHS Poms who helped cheer us on to victory!

If you are interested in wrestling this winter sports season, there will be two interest meetings tomorrow, September 26th, and Friday, September 27th. They will both be at 8:00 AM before the first bell in the Forum. You only need to attend one of the two meetings if you are interested.

1st Place: Thespians for 'Thespian Saloon.'
2nd Place: EHS for 'Western Photo Booth.'
3rd Place: FCCLA for 'Cowboy Cupcake Walk.'
Honorable Mention for Art Club for their 'Soda Pop Saloon Bottle Toss.' Thanks to all the participants for making the Carnival a great success!
