Student Council Exec Board members. There is a meeting on Monday at 7:45 am, in room 2619.

There is a General Student Council meeting next Tuesday at 7:45 am, in the forum.

Lion's Follies is having a raffle during intermission tonight! You can buy a raffle ticket for $1 when you buy a lions follies ticket in the front lobby during A and B lunch and tonight at the door.

Our speech and debate team hopes to bring home a lot of gold as they compete at Golden High School tomorrow for the Demon Invite. And all team members, we have a meeting after school today in the speech room.

All hockey players who are interested in trying out for the LPS CHSAA Ice Hockey team, it is time to register! The LPS hockey program is a combined team with players from Arapahoe, Heritage, Littleton, and Options. Please go to the heritageeagleshockey.com website for registration details. Tryouts will be held on Monday, November 18th, and Tuesday, November 19th, from 4:00-5:00 pm at South Suburban Ice Rink.

If you are interested in joining Unified Basketball and missed the meeting...come see Mrs. Encinias or Mrs. Stukey in Rm 1816 and pick up a packet.

Hello, Juniors and Seniors - College visits are still happening! Johnson & Wales University will be here today, November 14th, at 12:30 pm and CSU will be here on Tuesday, November 21st, at 11:45 am. Sign-up in Naviance to meet with these admission representatives. Please come to Counseling if you need a pass to be excused from class.

Seniors, this is a final reminder - if you have December 1st college application deadlines, you need to request your transcripts in Naviance and bring money to the Registrar in the Counseling office by tomorrow, November 15th. Transcripts will not be sent the last week of November because of the Thanksgiving break. Plan accordingly.

Lion's Follies are tonight and Friday. Tickets are available in the lobby during A and B lunch or online. You can buy a raffle ticket for only ONE DOLLAR and have a chance to win some great gift certificates. If you are a fan of delicious food and fun, come and support Lion's Follies.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Your LIttleton Lions Football Team capped off their 2019 season with a 35-12 win against Mitchell High School in their 1st Annual Foundation Football game last night. This win marks the program's first W since 2017. It was a true testament to the perseverance and grit your Lions modeled all season. To the seniors, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. Adapting to change and staying committed to the program while playing for a bigger purpose. To the underclassmen, this is a building block set in the foundation that you helped lay this season. Our vision is looking forward to the future, and we are excited about the direction the football program is headed. One last, thank you to all the faculty, staff, student body, band, and Poms for your continued support. We appreciate your positivity and endless encouragement. Get excited, good things are coming, and we will always need you! Best of luck to all programs and activities throughout the remainder of the school year. We will be there to support you. Anyone with questions on how to get involved for next year, never hesitate to reach out to Coach Z. His door is always open - GO LIONS!

STUDENT BULLETIN
Today, LHS Campus Supervisor, John Mathews, will lead us in the pledge. John served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant from 1981-1985. He was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, at the Marine Corp Air Station, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and also in Denmark. For the first two years of service, he was a field Military Policeman with the second field service support group. He finished his career as a base military policeman. John, we thank you for your service.

We will be meeting tomorrow, November 14th, at 8:00 am in Ms. Fritz' room (1749). If you want to act in a movie, want to learn more about the filming process, or if you are already advanced, all are welcome!

Congratulations to our LHS Unified Bowling team for competing last week in the 2nd annual Special Olympics Colorado/CHSAA State Bowling Championships. Shout out to our amazing bowlers: Max Warren, Grace Lengyel, Kira Lennebacker, and Xavier Renshaw. Partners were Addie Bouck, Tinley Enzminger, Jack Fidler, and Hans Romine. Special thanks to the LIonettes Spirit Squad members who joined in on the fun: Karissa, Samantha, Zoe, Sierra, and Holly. Go Lions!

Mickey Wentz, a math teacher at LHS, will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance today. Mr. Wentz served in the United States Coast Guard for eight years as a Rescue Survival Swimmer and a Maritime Law Enforcement Member. He was stationed in San Francisco and Seattle. Mr. Wentz, we thank you for your service.

STUDENT BULLETIN
Students- Today, we celebrate Veterans Day. Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans–living or dead–but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.

You will notice we have asked several veterans to be a part of our school days this week. In-house veterans will lead us in the pledge throughout the week. We encourage you to think about the sacrifices veterans made and take a moment to thank them for their service.

Amber Barnello, a special education teacher at LHS, will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance today. Ms. Barnello served in the US Air Force and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, as well Kadena Air Force Base for four years working as a munitions specialist. This assignment included inspecting and transporting munitions, as well as a trainer for munition transportation drivers. She was deployed to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, during Desert Storm. Ms. Barnello was also enlisted in the US Army National Guard and stationed in North Dakota and Las Vegas, working in water purification. Ms. Barnello, we thank you for your service.

MOCK TRIAL - meets in room 2608 today after school. We will be going over the 2020 court case and assigning roles.

Littleton High School has a new Chess Club that meets Thursdays from 4-5:00 pm in-room 0215X (computer lab) starting this week. Open to beginners and experts, all are welcome.

The Lion Ultimate Frisbee team vanquished the competition in division 2 at State. They went undefeated the entire weekend and ultimately got 1st place — shoutout to all the seniors who fought hard for the win to rightfully end their last fall season. Also, the new players did amazing and will help us to victory again next season.
