CONGRATULATIONS:
Girls cross country has been crushing it ever since our start in the middle of August. This past week, our Lady Lions raced at the hot, hilly RamBlaster at the North Area Athletic Complex in Arvada, the fast two-miler South Jeffco #4 at Valor High School and the uber-competitive Bear Creek Invitational at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood. Standout performances came from Scarlett Montoya (who raced through her entire wave to be first for the Lions), Catherine May, Kenzie Pullar, Anika Bagal, McAllister Stewart, Eve Raynor, and Nina Marshall. Congratulations to all!

The boys cross country team won the Bear Creek Invitational last week by 10 points holding off a strong Evergreen team. This is the second meet this year the Lions have won. Evan Moore, Dan Lamey, and Howie Marshall notched PRs in the effort. The boys also raced tough at the RamBlaster Invite with gutty performances from Sawyer Gannon, Luke Suro, and Oli Garnica. Nick Fisher, Henry Pausback, Karsten Beich, and Charlie Denman all achieved course records at the South Jeffco #4 race at Valor. Awesome effort, gents!

Yesterday the boys' golf team competed in Regionals, the tournament that determines which players go on to the State Championship. Junior Emmett Loomis met the standard, and he will be competing in the 4A State Golf Championship in two weeks. Good job, Emmett, and good luck at State!
